lamhon ki ghuTan KHauf ka tufan bahut hai
meri hi tarah waqt pareshan bahut hai
hum jis ke liye shahr-e-sakun chhoD ke aae
wo dasht-e-junun-KHez bhi sunsan bahut hai
mujh se meri manzil ka pata puchhne walo
har rasta mere liye anjaan bahut hai
har moD pe ek koh-e-giran ban ke khaDe hain
TuTe hue logon mein abhi shan bahut hai
aabaad the jis mein teri yaron ke qabile
wo qarya-e-jaan in dinon viran bahut hai
ai dosto dukh-dard ke qisse na sunao
'KHurshid'-sahar aaj pareshan bahut hai
