ab wo agla sa iltifat nahin
jis pe bhule the hum wo baat nahin
mujh ko tum se e'timad-e-wafa
tum ko mujh se par iltifat nahin
ranj kya kya hain ek jaan ke sath
zindagi maut hai hayat nahin
yunhi guzre to sahl hai lekin
fursat-e-gham ko bhi sabaat nahin
koi dil-soz ho to kije bayan
sarsari dil ki wardat nahin
zarra zarra hai mazhar-e-KHurshid
jag ai aankh din hai raat nahin
qais ho kohkan ho ya 'haali'
aashiqi kuchh kisi ki zat nahin
