phir us se aage tab-e-rasa le gai mujhe
kya aankh thi ki mauj-e-baqa ki tarah mili
kya mauj thi ki misl-e-fana le gai mujhe
miTTi ko chum lene ki hasrat hi rah gai
TuTa jo shaKH se to hawa le gai mujhe
dasht-e-junun se aai thi basti mein baad-e-shauq
lauTi to apne sath baha le gai mujhe
ai jurat-e-farar tera shukriya ki tu
rishton ke pech-o-KHam se bacha le gai mujhe
