ram-e-jawedana ghazal hi to hai
surud-e-shabana ghazal hi to hai
numayan kiya jis ne is daur ko
wo hur-e-yagana ghazal hi to hai
nihan jis mein sadiyon ki tashkil hai
wo zarrin tarana ghazal hi to hai
adab ka agar irtiqa hai to ye
urus-e-zamana ghazal hi to hai
ye sirr-e-hasin sab ko batla 'azim'
yam-e-be-karana ghazal hi to hai
