har choT pe puchhe hai bata yaad rahegi
hum ko ye zamane ki ada yaad rahegi
din raat ke aansu sahar o sham ki aahen
is bagh ki ye aab-o-hawa yaad rahegi
kis dhum se baDhti hui pahunchi hai kahan tak
duniya ko teri zulf-e-rasa yaad rahegi
karte rahenge tum se mohabbat bhi wafa bhi
go tum ko mohabbat na wafa yaad rahegi
kis baat ka tu qaul-o-qasam le hai barahman
har baat buton ki ba-KHuda yaad rahegi
chalte gae hum phul banate gae chhaale
sahra ko meri laghzish-e-pa yaad rahegi
jis bazm mein tum jaoge us bazm ko 'ajiz'
ye guftugu-e-be-sar-o-pa yaad rahegi
