ye baat alag hai mera qatil bhi wahi tha
is shahr mein tarif ke qabil bhi wahi tha
aasan tha bahut us ke liye harf-e-murawwat
aur marhala apne liye mushkil bhi wahi tha
tabir thi apni bhi wahi KHwab-e-safar ki
afsana-e-mahrumi-e-manzil bhi wahi tha
ek hath mein talwar thi ek hath mein kashkol
zalim to wo tha hi mera sail bhi wahi tha
hum aap ke apne hain wo kahta raha mujh se
aaKHir saf-e-aghyar mein shamil bhi wahi tha
main lauT ke aaya to gulistan-e-hawas mein
tha gul bhi wahi shor-e-anadil bhi wahi tha
dawe the 'zafar' us ko bahut ba-KHabari ke
dekha to mere haal se ghafil bhi wahi tha
