آیا ہے اک راہ نما کے استقبال کو اک بچہ

زلیخا بے خرد آوارہ لیلیٰ بد مزا شیریں (ردیف .. ے)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
زہے قسمت کہ اس کے قیدیوں میں آ گئے ہم بھی (ردیف .. ا)

وہ ذکر تھا تمہارا جو انتہا سے گزرا
غلام مولیٰ قلق
وہ سنگ دل انگشت بدنداں نظر آوے (ردیف .. ا)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
واعظ یہ مے کدہ ہے نہ مسجد کہ اس جگہ (ردیف .. ا)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
واعظ نے میکدے کو جو دیکھا تو جل گیا (ردیف .. ی)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
اس سے نہ ملیے جس سے ملے دل تمام عمر (ردیف .. ی)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
تجھ سے اے زندگی گھبرا ہی چلے تھے ہم تو (ردیف .. ن)

تو ہے ہرجائی تو اپنا بھی یہی طور سہی
غلام مولیٰ قلق
تو دیکھ تو ادھر کہ جو دیکھا نہ جائے پھر (ردیف .. و)

تری نوید میں ہر داستاں کو سنتے ہیں
غلام مولیٰ قلق
تیرا دیوانہ تو وحشت کی بھی حد سے نکلا
غلام مولیٰ قلق
شہر ان کے واسطے ہے جو رہتے ہیں تجھ سے دور (ردیف .. ن)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
رحم کر مستوں پہ کب تک طاق پر رکھے گا تو (ردیف .. ا)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
پہلے رکھ لے تو اپنے دل پر ہاتھ (ردیف .. ے)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
پڑا ہے دیر و کعبہ میں یہ کیسا غل خدا جانے
غلام مولیٰ قلق
نالہ کرتا ہوں لوگ سنتے ہیں
غلام مولیٰ قلق
نہ یہ ہے نہ وہ ہے نہ میں ہوں نہ تو ہے
غلام مولیٰ قلق
نہ لگتی آنکھ تو سونے میں کیا برائی تھی (ردیف .. ا)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
نہ ہو آرزو کچھ یہی آرزو ہے
غلام مولیٰ قلق
موسیٰ کے سر پہ پاؤں ہے اہل نگاہ کا (ردیف .. ی)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
محبت وہ ہے جس میں کچھ کسی سے ہو نہیں سکتا
غلام مولیٰ قلق
میں راز داں ہوں یہ کہ جہاں تھا وہاں نہ تھا (ردیف .. ن)

کیوں کر نہ آستیں میں چھپا کر پڑھیں نماز (ردیف .. د)
غلام مولیٰ قلق
کیا خانہ خرابوں کا لگے تیرے ٹھکانا
غلام مولیٰ قلق
کفر اور اسلام میں دیکھا تو نازک فرق تھا
غلام مولیٰ قلق
کس لیے دعویٔ زلیخائی (ردیف .. ن)

کدھر قفس تھا کہاں ہم تھے کس طرف یہ قید (ردیف .. ا)

خدا سے ڈرتے تو خوف خدا نہ کرتے ہم

The Couplet Poetry is a structural form of poetry which consists of two successive lines with the same rhythm and same feet length. Couplet is a French word and it means "two pieces of iron riveted or hinged together”. There are two types of Couplet forms in the Poetry regarded as:
- Formal
- Run-on
Formal Couplet is also known as Closed Couplet. The Two lines in the Formal couplet is end-stopped. It means that a grammatical pause exists at the end of the line in a verse. Whereas, the run-on Couplet is also called Open Couplets. In a Run-on Couplet, the meaning of the first line is continued by the second line. Though, the poets have used rhythmic words in the traditional couplets, but sometimes words do not rhyme in a Couplet. In such poems, the Poets used white space to highlight the non- rhyming couplets. Moreover, many poems use couplet forms in their structure such as Heroic Couplets, Poetic epigram and Sonnets.
Couplets were used by many famous poets in their poems, such as Shakespeare and Geoffrey Chaucer. However, Sir P. Sidney was the first used them in 1590 in his verse of Arcadia. Usually, a couplet consist of two lines in the form of 2 lines Poetry, however, it can be used in four line poetry too. Basically, the purpose of using a couplet in poetry, is to make it interesting and understandable, otherwise, poetry will be dull and rough.
The Two lines Poetry is famous in Sub-Continent (India and Pakistan). The two countries shared same cultures and social forms. However after Partition, the two nations, who were once one, turned in to life time rivalries. In Pakistan, Urdu became the national language, whereas in India, Hindi was announced to be the official language.
