ایک آنسو یاد کا ٹپکا تو دریا بن گیا
گلنار آفرین
دل کا ہر زخم تری یاد کا اک پھول بنے

یاد کرنے کا تمہیں کوئی ارادہ بھی نہ تھا

وہ چراغ زیست بن کر راہ میں جلتا رہا

شاید ابھی کمی سی مسیحائیوں میں ہے

شجر امید بھی جل گیا وہ وفا کی شاخ بھی جل گئی
گلنار آفرین
نہ ساتھ دے گا کوئی راہ آشنا میرا

نہ پوچھ اے مرے غمخوار کیا تمنا تھی
گلنار آفرین
ہمارا نام پکارے ہمارے گھر آئے

دل نے اک آہ بھری آنکھ میں آنسو آئے

آنسو بھی وہی کرب کے سائے بھی وہی ہیں

Poetry is a category of literature in which the writer (usually called a poet) expresses its deep feeling with intensive pattern of words.
