وَ لَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا مِنۡ قَبۡلِكَ رُسُلاً اِلٰى قَوۡمِهِمۡ فَجَآءُوۡهُمۡ بِالۡبَيِّنٰتِ فَانتَقَمۡنَا مِنَ الَّذِيۡنَ اَجۡرَمُوۡاؕ وَكَانَ حَقًّا عَلَيۡنَا نَصۡرُ الۡمُؤۡمِنِيۡنَ﴿۴۷﴾
اور ہم نے تم سے پہلے بھی پیغمبر ان کی قوم کی طرف بھیجے تو وہ اُن کے پاس نشانیاں لےکر آئے سو جو لوگ نافرمانی کرتے تھے ہم نے اُن سے بدلہ لےکر چھوڑا اور مومنوں کی مدد ہم پر لازم تھی﴿۴۷﴾
Verily We sent before thee (Muhammad) messengers to their own folk. Then we took vengeance upon those who were guilty (in regard to them). To help believers is ever incumbent upon Us.﴾47﴿
