وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا نُوۡحًا وَّ اِبۡرٰهِيۡمَ وَجَعَلۡنَا فِىۡ ذُرِّيَّتِهِمَا النُّبُوَّةَ وَالۡـكِتٰبَ فَمِنۡهُمۡ مُّهۡتَدٍۚ وَّكَثِيۡرٌ مِّنۡهُمۡ فٰسِقُوۡنَ﴿۲۶﴾
اور ہم نے نوح اور ابراہیم کو (پیغمبر بنا کر) بھیجا اور ان کی اولاد میں پیغمبری اور کتاب (کے سلسلے) کو (وقتاً فوقتاً جاری) رکھا تو بعض تو ان میں سے ہدایت پر ہیں۔ اور اکثر ان میں سے خارج از اطاعت ہیں﴿۲۶﴾
And We verily sent Noah and Abraham and placed the prophethood and the scripture among their seed, and among them there is he who goeth right, but many of them are evil-livers.﴾26﴿
