وَالَّيۡل٠اÙذَا يَغۡشٰىۙ†﴿۱﴾
By the night enshrouding ﴾1﴿
وَالنَّهَار٠اÙذَا تَجَلّٰىۙ†﴿۲﴾
And the day resplendent ﴾2﴿
وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالۡاÙنۡثٰٓىۙ†﴿۳﴾
And Him Who hath created male and female, ﴾3﴿
اÙنَّ سَعۡيَكÙÙ…Û¡ لَشَتّٰىؕ†﴿۴﴾
Lo! your effort is dispersed (toward divers ends). ﴾4﴿
Ùَاَمَّا Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ اَعۡطٰى وَاتَّقٰىۙ†﴿۵﴾
As for him who giveth and is dutiful (toward Allah) ﴾5﴿
وَصَدَّقَ بÙالۡØÙسۡنٰىۙ†﴿۶﴾
And believeth in goodness; ﴾6﴿
ÙَسَنÙيَسّÙرÙهٗ Ù„ÙÙ„Û¡ÙŠÙسۡرٰىؕ†﴿۷﴾
Surely We will ease his way unto the state of ease. ﴾7﴿
وَاَمَّا Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡Û¢ بَخÙÙ„ÙŽ وَاسۡتَغۡنٰىۙ†﴿۸﴾
But as for him who hoardeth and deemeth himself independent, ﴾8﴿
وَكَذَّبَ بÙالۡØÙسۡنٰىۙ†﴿۹﴾
And disbelieveth in goodness; ﴾9﴿
ÙَسَنÙيَسّÙرÙهٗ Ù„ÙلۡعÙسۡرٰىؕ†﴿۱۰﴾
Surely We will ease his way unto adversity. ﴾10﴿
وَمَا ÙŠÙغۡنÙÙ‰Û¡ عَنۡه٠مَالÙهٗۤ اÙذَا تَرَدّٰىؕ†﴿۱۱﴾
His riches will not save him when he perisheth. ﴾11﴿
اÙنَّ عَلَيۡنَا لَـلۡهÙدٰىۖ†﴿۱۲﴾
Lo! Ours it is (to give) the guidance ﴾12﴿
وَاÙنَّ لَـنَا لَـلۡاٰخÙرَةَ وَالۡاÙوۡلٰى†﴿۱۳﴾
And lo! unto Us belong the latter portion and the former. ﴾13﴿
ÙَاَنۡذَرۡتÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ نَارًا تَلَظّٰى‌ۚ†﴿۱۴﴾
Therefor have I warned you of the flaming Fire ﴾14﴿
لَا يَصۡلٰٮهَاۤ اÙلَّا الۡاَشۡقَىۙ†﴿۱۵﴾
Which only the most wretched must endure, ﴾15﴿
الَّذÙÙ‰Û¡ كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلّٰىؕ†﴿۱۶﴾
He who denieth and turneth away. ﴾16﴿
وَسَيÙجَنَّبÙهَا الۡاَتۡقَىۙ†﴿۱۷﴾
Far removed from it will be the righteous ﴾17﴿
الَّذÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙŠÙؤۡتÙÙ‰Û¡ مَالَهٗ يَتَزَكّٰى‌ۚ†﴿۱۸﴾
Who giveth his wealth that he may grow (in goodness). ﴾18﴿
وَمَا Ù„ÙاَØَد٠عÙنۡدَهٗ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ نّÙعۡمَة٠تÙجۡزٰٓىۙ†﴿۱۹﴾
And none hath with him any favour for reward, ﴾19﴿
اÙلَّا ابۡتÙغَآءَ وَجۡه٠رَبّÙه٠الۡاَعۡلٰى‌ۚ†﴿۲۰﴾
Except as seeking (to fulfil) the purpose of his Lord Most High. ﴾20﴿
وَلَسَوۡÙÙŽ يَرۡضٰى†﴿۲۱﴾
He verily will be content. ﴾21﴿
