وَالۡـقَوَاعِدُ مِنَ النِّسَآءِ الّٰتِىۡ لَا يَرۡجُوۡنَ نِكَاحًا فَلَيۡسَ عَلَيۡهِنَّ جُنَاحٌ اَنۡ يَّضَعۡنَ ثِيَابَهُنَّ غَيۡرَ مُتَبَرِّجٰتٍۭ بِزِيۡنَةٍؕ وَّاَنۡ يَّسۡتَعۡفِفۡنَ خَيۡرٌ لَّهُنَّؕ وَاللّٰهُ سَمِيۡعٌ عَلِيۡمٌ﴿۶۰﴾
اور بڑی عمر کی عورتیں جن کو نکاح کی توقع نہیں رہی، اور وہ کپڑے اتار کر سر ننگا کرلیا کریں تو ان پر کچھ گناہ نہیں بشرطیکہ اپنی زینت کی چیزیں نہ ظاہر کریں۔ اور اس سے بھی بچیں تو یہ ان کے حق میں بہتر ہے۔ اور خدا سنتا اور جانتا ہے﴿۶۰﴾
As for women past child-bearing, who have no hope of marriage, it is no sin for them if they discard their (outer) clothing in such a way as not to show adornment. But to refrain is better for them. Allah is Hearer, Knower.﴾60﴿
