وَالۡÙَجۡرÙۙ†﴿۱﴾
By the Dawn ﴾1﴿
وَلَيَال٠عَشۡرÙۙ†﴿۲﴾
And ten nights, ﴾2﴿
وَّالشَّÙۡع٠وَالۡوَتۡرÙۙ†﴿۳﴾
And the Even and the Odd, ﴾3﴿
وَالَّيۡل٠اÙذَا يَسۡرÙ‌ۚ†﴿۴﴾
And the night when it departeth, ﴾4﴿
Ù‡ÙŽÙ„Û¡ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ قَسَمٌ لّÙØ°ÙÙ‰Û¡ ØÙجۡرÙؕ†﴿۵﴾
There surely is an oath for thinking man. ﴾5﴿
اَلَمۡ تَرَ ÙƒÙŽÙŠÛ¡ÙÙŽ Ùَعَلَ رَبّÙÙƒÙŽ بÙعَادÙۙ†﴿۶﴾
Dost thou not consider how thy Lord dealt with (the tribe of) A'ad, ﴾6﴿
اÙرَمَ ذَات٠الۡعÙمَادÙۙ†﴿۷﴾
With many-columned Iram, ﴾7﴿
الَّتÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ ÙŠÙخۡلَقۡ Ù…ÙØ«Û¡Ù„Ùهَا ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡبÙلَادÙۙ†﴿۸﴾
The like of which was not created in the lands; ﴾8﴿
ÙˆÙŽØ«ÙŽÙ…Ùوۡدَ الَّذÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ جَابÙوۡا الصَّخۡرَ بÙالۡوَادÙۙ†﴿۹﴾
And with (the tribe of) Thamud, who clove the rocks in the valley; ﴾9﴿
ÙˆÙŽÙÙرۡعَوۡنَ Ø°ÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡاَوۡتَادÙۙ†﴿۱۰﴾
And with Pharaoh, firm of might, ﴾10﴿
الَّذÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ طَغَوۡا ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡبÙلَادÙۙ†﴿۱۱﴾
Who (all) were rebellious (to Allah) in these lands, ﴾11﴿
ÙَاَكۡثَرÙوۡا ÙÙيۡهَا الۡÙَسَادَۙ†﴿۱۲﴾
And multiplied iniquity therein? ﴾12﴿
Ùَصَبَّ عَلَيۡهÙÙ…Û¡ رَبّÙÙƒÙŽ سَوۡطَ عَذَابÙۙ‌ۚ†﴿۱۳﴾
Therefore thy Lord poured on them the disaster of His punishment. ﴾13﴿
اÙنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبÙالۡمÙرۡصَادÙؕ†﴿۱۴﴾
Lo! thy Lord is ever watchful. ﴾14﴿
Ùَاَمَّا الۡاÙنۡسَان٠اÙذَا مَا ابۡتَلٰٮه٠رَبّÙهٗ Ùَاَكۡرَمَهٗ وَنَعَّمَهٗ ۙ ÙÙŽÙŠÙŽÙ‚Ùوۡل٠رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَكۡرَمَنÙؕ†﴿۱۵﴾
As for man, whenever his Lord trieth him by honouring him, and is gracious unto him, he saith: My Lord honoureth me. ﴾15﴿
وَاَمَّاۤ اÙذَا مَا ابۡتَلٰٮه٠Ùَقَدَرَ عَلَيۡه٠رÙزۡقَهٗ ۙ ÙÙŽÙŠÙŽÙ‚Ùوۡل٠رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَهَانَنÙ‌ۚ†﴿۱۶﴾
But whenever He trieth him by straitening his means of life, he saith: My Lord despiseth me. ﴾16﴿
كَلَّا‌ بَل لَّا تÙكۡرÙÙ…ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ الۡيَتÙيۡمَۙ†﴿۱۷﴾
Nay, but ye (for your part) honour not the orphan ﴾17﴿
وَلَا تَØٰٓضّÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ عَلٰى طَعَام٠الۡمÙسۡكÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†Ùۙ†﴿۱۸﴾
And urge not on the feeding of the poor. ﴾18﴿
وَتَاۡكÙÙ„ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ التّÙرَاثَ اَكۡلًا لَّـمًّاۙ†﴿۱۹﴾
And ye devour heritages with devouring greed. ﴾19﴿
وَّتÙØÙبّÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ الۡمَالَ ØÙبًّا جَمًّاؕ†﴿۲۰﴾
And love wealth with abounding love. ﴾20﴿
كَلَّاۤ اÙذَا دÙكَّت٠الۡاَرۡض٠دَكًّا دَكًّاۙ†﴿۲۱﴾
Nay, but when the earth is ground to atoms, grinding, grinding, ﴾21﴿
وَّجَآءَ رَبّÙÙƒÙŽ وَالۡمَلَك٠صَÙًّا صَÙًّاۚ†﴿۲۲﴾
And thy Lord shall come with angels, rank on rank, ﴾22﴿
وَجÙاىْٓءَ يَوۡمَٮٕÙØ°ÙÛ¢ بÙجَهَنَّمَ ۙ‌ يَوۡمَٮٕÙذ٠يَّتَذَكَّر٠الۡاÙنۡسَان٠وَاَنّٰى لَه٠الذّÙكۡرٰىؕ†﴿۲۳﴾
And hell is brought near that day; on that day man will remember, but how will the remembrance (then avail him)? ﴾23﴿
ÙŠÙŽÙ‚Ùوۡل٠يٰلَيۡتَنÙÙ‰Û¡ قَدَّمۡت٠لÙØَـيَاتÙى‌ۚ†﴿۲۴﴾
He will say: Ah, would that I had sent before me (some provision) for my life! ﴾24﴿
ÙَيَوۡمَٮٕÙذ٠لَّا ÙŠÙعَذّÙب٠عَذَابَهٗۤ اَØَدٌۙ†﴿۲۵﴾
None punisheth as He will punish on that day! ﴾25﴿
وَّلَا ÙŠÙÙˆÛ¡Ø«Ùق٠وَثَاقَهٗۤ اَØَدٌؕ†﴿۲۶﴾
None bindeth as He then will bind. ﴾26﴿
يٰۤاَيَّتÙهَا النَّÙۡس٠الۡمÙطۡمَٮٕÙنَّةÙۖ†﴿۲۷﴾
But ah! thou soul at peace! ﴾27﴿
ارۡجÙعÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اÙلٰى رَبّÙك٠رَاضÙيَةً مَّرۡضÙيَّةً‌ۚ†﴿۲۸﴾
Return unto thy Lord, content in His good pleasure! ﴾28﴿
ÙَادۡخÙÙ„ÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ عÙبٰدÙىۙ†﴿۲۹﴾
Enter thou among My bondmen! ﴾29﴿
وَادۡخÙÙ„ÙÙ‰Û¡ جَنَّتÙى†﴿۳۰﴾
Enter thou My Garden! ﴾30﴿
