میں اپنے گرد لکیریں بچھائے بیٹھا ہوں
کچھ دیر تو دنیا مرے پہلو میں کھڑی تھی
خیال و خواب کا سارا دھواں اتر چکا ہے
خاک چہرے پہ مل رہا ہوں میں
جس طرف چاہوں پہنچ جاؤں مسافت کیسی
اس بار ہواؤں نے جو بیداد گری کی
حیات و کائنات پر کتاب لکھ رہے تھے ہم
گزرنے والی ہوا کو بتا دیا گیا ہے
دھوپ کے جاتے ہی مر جاؤں گا میں
دشت و صحرا میں سمندر میں سفر ہے میرا
بکھیرتا ہے قیاس مجھ کو
باتوں میں بہت گہرائی ہے، لہجے میں بڑی سچائی ہے
اگرچہ ذہن کے کشکول سے چھلک رہے تھے
آنکھوں کے غم کدوں میں اجالے ہوئے تو ہیں
آئیں گے نظر صبح کے آثار میں ہم لوگ
