اچھا ہوں یا برا ہوں مجھے کچھ نہیں پتا

اب اگر اور چپ رہوں گا میں

رنج و الم کا لطف اٹھانے کے واسطے

ہجوم رنج و غم نے اس قدر مجھ کو رلایا ہے

تو بھی وہاں نہیں محبت جہاں نہیں

فرط الم سے آہ کئے جا رہا ہوں میں

ازل سے بادۂ ہستی کی ارزانی نہیں جاتی

تپش سے بھاگ کر پیاسا گیا ہے

ابھی تک فصل گل میں اک صدائے درد آتی ہے

تقدیر جب معاون تدبیر ہو گئی

سب کو گمان بھی کہ میں آگاہ راز تھا

رواںؔ کس کو خبر عنوان آغاز جہاں کیا تھا

نکل جائے یوں ہی فرقت میں دم کیا

جینے میں تھی نہ نزع کے رنج و محن میں تھی

گل ویرانہ ہوں کوئی نہیں ہے قدرداں میرا

غرض رہبر سے کیا مجھ کو گلہ ہے جذب کامل سے

انجام یہ ہوا ہے دل بے قرار کا
