Surah Ghafir/Momin Ayat/verse 78 with Urdu & English Translation - 40:78

وَلَقَدۡ اَرۡسَلۡنَا رُسُلاً مِّنۡ قَبۡلِكَ مِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ قَصَصۡنَا عَلَيۡكَ وَمِنۡهُمۡ مَّنۡ لَّمۡ نَقۡصُصۡ عَلَيۡكَؕ وَمَا كَانَ لِرَسُوۡلٍ اَنۡ يَّاۡتِىَ بِاٰيَةٍ اِلَّا بِاِذۡنِ اللّٰه‌ِۚ فَاِذَا جَآءَ اَمۡرُ اللّٰهِ قُضِىَ بِالۡحَقِّ وَخَسِرَ هُنَالِكَ الۡمُبۡطِلُوۡنَ‏﴿۷۸﴾

اور ہم Ù†Û’ تم سے پہلے (بہت سے) پیغمبر بھیجے۔ ان میں Ú©Ú†Ú¾ تو ایسے ہیں جن Ú©Û’ حالات تم سے بیان کر دیئے ہیں اور Ú©Ú†Ú¾ ایسے ہیں جن Ú©Û’ حالات بیان نہیں کئے۔ اور کسی پیغمبر کا مقدور نہ تھا کہ خدا Ú©Û’ Ø­Ú©Ù… Ú©Û’ سوا کوئی نشانی لائے۔ پھر جب خدا کا Ø­Ú©Ù… آپہنچا تو انصاف Ú©Û’ ساتھ فیصلہ کردیا گیا اور اہل باطل نقصان میں Ù¾Ú‘ گئے﴿۷۸﴾

Verily We sent messengers before thee, among them those of whom We have told thee, and some of whom We have not told thee; and it was not given to any messenger that he should bring a portent save by Allah's leave, but when Allah's commandment cometh (the cause) is judged aright, and the followers of vanity will then be lost.﴾78﴿
