وہ عشق کو کس طرح سمجھ پائے گا جس نے
حمیرا راحتؔ
تعلق کی نئی اک رسم اب ایجاد کرنا ہے

مرے دل کے اکیلے گھر میں راحتؔ

خوشی میری گوارہ تھی نہ قسمت کو نہ دنیا کو

یہ کہنا تھا جو دنیا کہہ رہی ہے

وقت کی آنکھ سے کچھ خواب نئے مانگتا ہے

میں آب عشق میں حل ہو گئی ہوں

کہانی کو مکمل جو کرے وہ باب اٹھا لائی

ہوا کے ساتھ یہ کیسا معاملہ ہوا ہے

ہر ایک خواب کی تعبیر تھوڑی ہوتی ہے

بارش کے قطرے کے دکھ سے ناواقف ہو

آنکھوں سے کسی خواب کو باہر نہیں دیکھا

تزئین بزم غم کے لیے کوئی شے تو ہو

دل کو غم راس ہے یوں گل کو صبا ہو جیسے

دشت وفا میں جل کے نہ رہ جائیں اپنے دل

وہ تقاضائے جنوں اب کے بہاروں میں نہ تھا

پاس ناموس تمنا ہر اک آزار میں تھا

ملتا نہیں مزاج خود اپنی ادا میں ہے

کبھی آہیں کبھی نالے کبھی آنسو نکلے

گو داغ ہو گئے ہیں وہ چھالے پڑے ہوئے

دیکھے ہیں جو غم دل سے بھلائے نہیں جاتے

Poetry is a category of literature in which the writer (usually called a poet) expresses its deep feeling with intensive pattern of words. This non-fiction genre of art, covers the rhythmic meaning of thoughts while intensifying it through poetry.
