رکنے کے لیے دست ستم گر بھی نہیں تھا

راستہ دیر تک سوچتا رہ گیا

کبھی تو صحن انا سے نکلے کہیں پہ دشت ملال آیا

ہم خود بھی ہوئے نادم جب حرف دعا نکلا

آنکھوں میں وہ خواب نہیں بستے پہلا سا وہ حال نہیں ہوتا

شب فراق کچھ ایسا خیال یار رہا

Poetry is a category of literature in which the writer (usually called a poet) expresses its deep feeling with intensive pattern of words. This non-fiction genre of art, covers the rhythmic meaning of thoughts while intensifying it through poetry.
