دل پر شوق کو پہلو میں دبائے رکھا

دل پر جو زخم ہیں وہ دکھائیں کسی کو کیا

دیار داغؔ و بیخودؔ شہر دہلی چھوڑ کر تجھ کو

چور تھا زخموں سے دل زخمی جگر بھی ہو گیا

بھلا بھی دے اسے جو بات ہو گئی پیارے

بہت روشن ہے شام غم ہماری

باتیں تو کچھ ایسی ہیں کہ خود سے بھی نہ کی جائیں

اور سب بھول گئے حرف صداقت لکھنا
