الٓر‌ تÙÙ„Û¡ÙƒÙŽ Ø§Ù°ÙŠÙ°ØªÙ Ø§Ù„Û¡ÙƒÙØªÙ°Ø¨Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØ¨Ùيۡن†﴿۱﴾
Alif. Lam. Ra. These are verse of the Scripture that maketh plain. ﴾1﴿
اÙنَّاۤ Ø§ÙŽÙ†Û¡Ø²ÙŽÙ„Û¡Ù†Ù°Ù‡Ù Ù‚ÙØ±Û¡Ø¡Ù°Ù†Ù‹Ø§ عَرَبÙيًّا لَّعَلَّكÙÙ…Û¡ تَعۡقÙÙ„Ùوۡنَ†﴿۲﴾
Lo! We have revealed it, a Lecture in Arabic, that ye may understand. ﴾2﴿
Ù†ÙŽØÛ¡Ù†Ù Ù†ÙŽÙ‚ÙØµÙ‘٠عَلَيۡكَ اَØÛ¡Ø³ÙŽÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù‚ÙŽØµÙŽØµÙ Ø¨Ùمَاۤ اَوۡØÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽØ§Û¤ اÙÙ„ÙŽÙŠÛ¡ÙƒÙŽ هٰذَا Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù‚ÙØ±Û¡Ø§Ù°Ù†ÙŽâ€ŒÛ–وَاÙÙ†Û¡ ÙƒÙنۡتَ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ قَبۡلÙهٖ Ù„ÙŽÙ…ÙÙ†ÙŽ الۡغٰÙÙÙ„Ùيۡنَ†﴿۳﴾
We narrate unto thee (Muhammad) the best of narratives in that We have inspired in thee this Qur'an, though aforetime thou wast of the heedless. ﴾3﴿
Ø§ÙØ°Û¡ قَالَ ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙ Ù„ÙØ§ÙŽØ¨Ùيۡه٠يٰۤاَبَت٠اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡ رَاَيۡت٠اَØÙŽØ¯ÙŽ Ø¹ÙŽØ´ÙŽØ±ÙŽ كَوۡكَبًا وَّالشَّمۡسَ وَالۡقَمَرَ رَاَيۡتÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ù„ÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø³Ù°Ø¬ÙØ¯Ùيۡنَ†﴿۴﴾
When Joseph said unto his father: O my father! Lo! I saw in a dream eleven planets and the sun and the moon, I saw them prostrating themselves unto me. ﴾4﴿
قَالَ يٰبÙنَىَّ لَا ØªÙŽÙ‚Û¡ØµÙØµÛ¡ Ø±ÙØ¡Û¡ÙŠÙŽØ§ÙƒÙŽ Ø¹ÙŽÙ„Ù°Ù“Ù‰ Ø§ÙØ®Û¡ÙˆÙŽØªÙÙƒÙŽ ÙÙŽÙŠÙŽÙƒÙيۡدÙوۡا لَـكَ كَيۡدًاؕ‌ؕ اÙنَّ الشَّيۡطٰنَ Ù„ÙلۡاÙنۡسَان٠عَدÙوٌّ Ù…Ù‘ÙØ¨Ùيۡنٌ†﴿۵﴾
He said: O my dear son! Tell not thy brethren of thy vision, lest they plot a plot against thee. Lo! Satan is for man an open foe. ﴾5﴿
وَكَذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ يَجۡتَبÙÙŠÛ¡ÙƒÙŽ رَبّÙÙƒÙŽ ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙØ¹ÙŽÙ„Ù‘ÙÙ…ÙÙƒÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ تَاۡوÙيۡل٠الۡاٰØÙŽØ§Ø¯ÙÙŠÛ¡Ø«Ù ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙØªÙÙ…Ù‘Ù Ù†ÙØ¹Û¡Ù…َتَهٗ عَلَيۡكَ وَعَلٰٓى اٰل٠يَعۡقÙوۡبَ كَمَاۤ اَتَمَّهَا عَلٰٓى اَبَوَيۡكَ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ Ù‚ÙŽØ¨Û¡Ù„Ù Ø§ÙØ¨Û¡Ø±Ù°Ù‡ÙÙŠÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ ÙˆÙŽØ§ÙØ³Û¡ØÙ°Ù‚َ‌ؕ اÙنَّ رَبَّكَ عَلÙÙŠÛ¡Ù…ÙŒ ØÙŽÙƒÙيۡمٌ†﴿۶﴾
Thus thy Lord will prefer thee and will teach thee the interpretation of events, and will perfect His grace upon thee and upon the family of Jacob as He perfected it upon thy forefathers, Abraham and Isaac. Lo! thy Lord is Knower, Wise. ﴾6﴿
لَّقَدۡ كَانَ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ ÙˆÙŽØ§ÙØ®Û¡ÙˆÙŽØªÙهٖۤ اٰيٰتٌ لّÙـلسَّآٮٕÙÙ„Ùيۡنَ†﴿۷﴾
Verily in Joseph and his brethren are signs (of Allah's Sovereignty) for the inquiring. ﴾7﴿
Ø§ÙØ°Û¡ قَالÙوۡا Ù„ÙŽÙŠÙوۡسÙÙ٠وَاَخÙوۡه٠اَØÙŽØ¨Ù‘٠اÙلٰٓى اَبÙيۡنَا Ù…Ùنَّا ÙˆÙŽÙ†ÙŽØÛ¡Ù†Ù Ø¹ÙØµÛ¡Ø¨ÙŽØ©ÙŒÂ Ø• اÙنَّ اَبَانَا Ù„ÙŽÙÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø¶ÙŽÙ„Ù°Ù„Ù Ù…Ù‘ÙØ¨ÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†Ù‌ۖ‌ۚ†﴿۸﴾
When they said: Verily Joseph and his brother are dearer to our father than we are, many though we be. Lo! our father is in plain aberration. ﴾8﴿
اۨقۡتÙÙ„Ùوۡا ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ اَو٠اطۡرَØÙوۡه٠اَرۡضًا يَّخۡل٠لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ وَجۡه٠اَبÙÙŠÛ¡ÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ ÙˆÙŽ تَكÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†Ùوۡا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡Û¢ بَعۡدÙهٖ قَوۡمًا ØµÙ°Ù„ÙØÙيۡنَ†﴿۹﴾
(One said): Kill Joseph or cast him to some (other) land, so that your father's favour may be all for you, and (that) ye may afterward be righteous folk. ﴾9﴿
قَالَ قَآٮٕÙÙ„ÙŒ مّÙÙ†Û¡Ù‡ÙÙ…Û¡ لَا تَقۡتÙÙ„Ùوۡا ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ وَاَلۡقÙÙˆÛ¡Ù‡Ù ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ غَيٰبَت٠الۡجÙÙ€Ø¨Ù‘Ù ÙŠÙŽÙ„Û¡ØªÙŽÙ‚ÙØ·Û¡Ù‡Ù بَعۡض٠السَّيَّارَة٠اÙÙ†Û¡ ÙƒÙنۡتÙÙ…Û¡ ÙٰعÙÙ„Ùيۡنَ†﴿۱۰﴾
One among them said: Kill not Joseph but, if ye must be doing, fling him into the depth of the pit; some caravan will find him. ﴾10﴿
قَالÙوۡا يٰۤاَبَانَا مَا لَـكَ لَا تَاۡمَنَّا عَلٰى ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ وَاÙنَّا لَهٗ Ù„ÙŽÙ†ÙŽØ§ØµÙØÙوۡنَ†﴿۱۱﴾
They said: O our father! Why wilt thou not trust us with Joseph, when lo! we are good friends to him? ﴾11﴿
اَرۡسÙلۡه٠مَعَنَا غَدًا يَّرۡتَعۡ وَيَلۡعَبۡ وَاÙنَّا لَهٗ Ù„ÙŽØÙ°Ù€ÙÙØ¸Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۲﴾
Send him with us to-morrow that he may enjoy himself and play. And lo! we shall take good care of him. ﴾12﴿
قَالَ اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù„ÙŽÙŠÙŽØÛ¡Ø²ÙÙ†ÙÙ†ÙÙ‰Û¡ اَنۡ تَذۡهَبÙوۡا بÙهٖ وَاَخَاÙ٠اَنۡ يَّاۡكÙÙ„ÙŽÙ‡Ù Ø§Ù„Ø°Ù‘ÙØ¦Û¡Ø¨Ù وَاَنۡـتÙÙ…Û¡ عَنۡه٠غٰÙÙÙ„Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۳﴾
He said: Lo! in truth it saddens me that ye should take him with you, and I fear less the wolf devour him while ye are heedless of him. ﴾13﴿
قَالÙوۡا لَٮٕÙÙ†Û¡ Ø§ÙŽÙƒÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ‡Ù Ø§Ù„Ø°Ù‘ÙØ¦Û¡Ø¨Ù ÙˆÙŽÙ†ÙŽØÛ¡Ù†Ù Ø¹ÙØµÛ¡Ø¨ÙŽØ©ÙŒ اÙنَّاۤ Ø§ÙØ°Ù‹Ø§ Ù„Ù‘ÙŽØ®Ù°Ø³ÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۴﴾
They said: If the wolf should devour him when we are (so strong) a band, then surely we should have already perished. ﴾14﴿
Ùَلَمَّا ذَهَبÙوۡا بÙهٖ وَاَجۡمَعÙوۡۤا اَنۡ يَّجۡعَلÙÙˆÛ¡Ù‡Ù ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ ØºÙŽÙŠÙ°Ø¨ÙŽØªÙ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ø¬ÙØ¨Ù‘Ù‌ۚ وَاَوۡØÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽØ§Û¤ اÙلَيۡه٠لَـتÙÙ†ÙŽÙ€Ø¨Ù‘ÙØ¦ÙŽÙ€Ù†Ù‘ÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ§ÙŽÙ…ۡرÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ هٰذَا ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ لَا ÙŠÙŽØ´Û¡Ø¹ÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۵﴾
Then, when they led him off, and were of one mind that they should place him in the depth of the pit, We inspired in him: Thou wilt tell them of this deed of theirs when they know (thee) not. ﴾15﴿
وَجَآءÙÙˆÛ¡Û¤ اَبَاهÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¹ÙØ´ÙŽØ§Ù“ءً يَّبۡكÙوۡنَؕ†﴿۱۶﴾
And they came weeping to their father in the evening. ﴾16﴿
‌قَالÙوۡا يٰۤاَبَانَاۤ اÙنَّا ذَهَبۡنَا نَسۡتَبÙق٠وَتَرَكۡنَا ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ عÙنۡدَ مَتَاعÙنَا ÙÙŽØ§ÙŽÙƒÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ‡Ù Ø§Ù„Ø°Ù‘ÙØ¦Û¡Ø¨Ù‌ۚ وَمَاۤ اَنۡتَ بÙÙ…ÙØ¤Û¡Ù…Ùن٠لَّنَا ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙˆÛ¡ ÙƒÙنَّا صٰدÙÙ‚Ùيۡنَ†﴿۱۷﴾
Saying: O our father! We went racing one with another, and left Joseph by our things, and the wolf devoured him, and thou believest not our saying even when we speak the truth. ﴾17﴿
وَجَآءÙÙˆÛ¡ عَلٰى Ù‚ÙŽÙ…ÙيـۡصÙهٖ Ø¨ÙØ¯ÙŽÙ…Ù ÙƒÙŽØ°ÙØ¨Ù‌ؕ قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ اَنۡÙÙØ³ÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ اَمۡرًا‌ؕ Ùَصَبۡرٌ جَمÙيۡلٌ‌ؕ ÙˆÙŽØ§Ù„Ù„Ù‘Ù°Ù‡Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØ³Û¡ØªÙŽØ¹ÙŽØ§Ù†Ù عَلٰى مَا تَصÙÙÙوۡنَ†﴿۱۸﴾
And they came with false blood on his shirt. He said: Nay, but your minds have beguiled you into something. (My course is) comely patience. And Allah it is Whose help is to be sought in that (predicament) which ye describe. ﴾18﴿
وَجَآءَتۡ سَيَّارَةٌ ÙَاَرۡسَلÙوۡا ÙˆÙŽØ§Ø±ÙØ¯ÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ùَاَدۡلَىٰ دَلۡوَهٗ‌ؕ قَالَ ÙŠÙ°Ø¨ÙØ´Û¡Ø±Ù°Ù‰ هٰذَا غÙلٰمٌ‌ؕ وَاَسَرّÙÙˆÛ¡Ù‡Ù Ø¨ÙØ¶ÙŽØ§Ø¹ÙŽØ©Ù‹Â ‌ؕ وَاللّٰه٠عَلÙيۡمٌۢ بÙمَا يَعۡمَلÙوۡنَ†﴿۱۹﴾
And there came a caravan, and they sent their waterdrawer. He let down his pail (into the pit). He said: Good luck! Here is a youth. And they hid him as a treasure, and Allah was Aware of what they did. ﴾19﴿
ÙˆÙŽØ´ÙŽØ±ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù‡Ù Ø¨ÙØ«ÙŽÙ…ÙŽÙ†ÙÛ¢ بَخۡس٠دَراهÙÙ…ÙŽ مَعۡدÙوۡدَةÙ‌ۚ وَكَانÙوۡا ÙÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Ø²Ù‘Ù°Ù‡ÙØ¯Ùيۡنَ†﴿۲۰﴾
And they sold him for a low price, a number of silver coins; and they attached no value to him. ﴾20﴿
وَقَالَ الَّذÙÙ‰Û¡ اشۡتَرٰٮه٠مÙÙ†Û¡ Ù…Ù‘ÙØµÛ¡Ø±ÙŽ Ù„ÙØ§Ù…ۡرَاَتÙهٖۤ اَكۡرÙÙ…ÙÙ‰Û¡ مَثۡوٰٮه٠عَسٰٓى اَنۡ يَّـنۡÙَعَنَاۤ اَوۡ Ù†ÙŽÙ€ØªÙ‘ÙŽØ®ÙØ°ÙŽÙ‡Ù— وَلَدًا‌ؕ وَكَذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ مَكَّنَّا Ù„ÙÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡاَرۡضÙوَلÙÙ†ÙØ¹ÙŽÙ„Ù‘Ùمَهٗ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ تَاۡوÙيۡل٠الۡاٰØÙŽØ§Ø¯ÙÙŠÛ¡Ø«Ù‌ؕ ÙˆÙŽØ§Ù„Ù„Ù‘Ù°Ù‡Ù ØºÙŽØ§Ù„ÙØ¨ÙŒ عَلٰٓى اَمۡرÙهٖ وَلٰـكÙنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاس٠لَا يَعۡلَمÙوۡنَ†﴿۲۱﴾
And he of Egypt who purchased him said unto his wife: Receive him honourably. Perchance he may prove useful to us or we may adopt him as a son. Thus we established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah was predominant in His career, but most of mankind know not. ﴾21﴿
وَلَمَّا بَلَغَ Ø§ÙŽØ´ÙØ¯Ù‘َهٗۤ اٰتَيۡنٰه٠ØÙكۡمًا وَّعÙلۡمًا‌ؕ وَكَذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ نَجۡزÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØÛ¡Ø³ÙÙ†Ùيۡنَ†﴿۲۲﴾
And And when he reached his prime We gave him wisdom and knowledge. Thus We reward the good. ﴾22﴿
وَرَاوَدَتۡه٠الَّتÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù‡ÙÙˆÙŽ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ بَيۡتÙهَا عَنۡ نَّـÙۡسÙهٖ وَغَلَّقَت٠الۡاَبۡوَابَ وَقَالَتۡ هَيۡتَ لَـكَ‌ؕ قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللّٰهÙ‌ اÙنَّهٗ رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَØÛ¡Ø³ÙŽÙ†ÙŽ Ù…ÙŽØ«Û¡ÙˆÙŽØ§Ù‰ÙŽâ€ŒØ• اÙنَّهٗ لَا ÙŠÙÙÛ¡Ù„ÙØÙ Ø§Ù„Ø¸Ù‘Ù°Ù„ÙÙ…Ùوۡنَ†﴿۲۳﴾
And she, in whose house he was, asked of him an evil act. She bolted the doors and said: Come! He said: I seek refuge in Allah! Lo! he is my lord, who hath treated me honourably. Lo! wrong-doers never prosper. ﴾23﴿
وَلَـقَدۡ هَمَّتۡ بÙهٖ‌ۚ وَهَمَّ بÙهَا‌ لَوۡلَاۤ اَنۡ رَّاٰ Ø¨ÙØ±Û¡Ù‡ÙŽØ§Ù†ÙŽ Ø±ÙŽØ¨Ù‘Ùهٖ‌ؕ كَذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ Ù„ÙنَصۡرÙÙÙŽ عَنۡه٠السّÙۤوۡءَ وَالۡـÙÙŽØÛ¡Ø´ÙŽØ§Ù“ءَ‌ؕ اÙنَّهٗ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ Ø¹ÙØ¨ÙŽØ§Ø¯Ùنَا Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØ®Û¡Ù„َصÙيۡنَ†﴿۲۴﴾
She verily desired him, and he would have desired her if it had not been that he saw the argument of his Lord. Thus it was, that We might ward off from him evil and lewdness. Lo! he was of Our chosen slaves. ﴾24﴿
وَاسۡتَبَقَا الۡبَابَ وَقَدَّتۡ Ù‚ÙŽÙ…Ùيۡصَهٗ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ Ø¯ÙØ¨Ùر٠وَّاَلۡÙَيَا Ø³ÙŽÙŠÙ‘ÙØ¯ÙŽÙ‡ÙŽØ§ لَدَا الۡبَابÙ‌ؕ قَالَتۡ مَا جَزَآء٠مَنۡ اَرَادَ Ø¨ÙØ§ÙŽÙ‡Û¡Ù„ÙÙƒÙŽ سÙوۡۤءًا اÙلَّاۤ اَنۡ ÙŠÙ‘ÙØ³Û¡Ø¬ÙŽÙ†ÙŽ Ø§ÙŽÙˆÛ¡ عَذَابٌ اَلÙيۡمٌ†﴿۲۵﴾
And they raced with one another to the door, and she tore his shirt from behind, and they met her lord and master at the door. She said: What shall be his reward, who wisheth evil to thy folk, save prison or a painful doom? ﴾25﴿
قَالَ Ù‡ÙÙ‰ÙŽ رَاوَدَتۡنÙÙ‰Û¡ عَنۡ نَّـÙۡسÙىۡ‌ ÙˆÙŽØ´ÙŽÙ‡ÙØ¯ÙŽ Ø´ÙŽØ§Ù‡ÙØ¯ÙŒ مّÙÙ†Û¡ اَهۡلÙهَا‌ۚ اÙÙ†Û¡ كَانَ Ù‚ÙŽÙ…ÙيۡصÙهٗ Ù‚ÙØ¯Ù‘ÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ Ù‚ÙØ¨ÙÙ„Ù Ùَصَدَقَتۡ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡ÙƒÙ°Ø°ÙØ¨Ùيۡنَ†﴿۲۶﴾
(Joseph) said: She it was who asked of me an evil act. And a witness of her own folk testified: If his shirt is torn from before, then she speaketh truth and he is of the liars. ﴾26﴿
وَاÙÙ†Û¡ كَانَ Ù‚ÙŽÙ…ÙيۡصÙهٗ Ù‚ÙØ¯Ù‘ÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ Ø¯ÙØ¨Ùر٠Ùَكَذَبَتۡ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ الصّٰدÙÙ‚Ùيۡنَ†﴿۲۷﴾
And if his shirt is torn from behind, then she hath lied and he is of the truthful. ﴾27﴿
Ùَلَمَّا رَاٰ Ù‚ÙŽÙ…Ùيۡصَهٗ Ù‚ÙØ¯Ù‘ÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ Ø¯ÙØ¨Ùر٠قَالَ اÙنَّهٗ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ كَيۡدÙÙƒÙنَّ‌ؕ اÙنَّ كَيۡدَكÙنَّ عَظÙيۡمٌ†﴿۲۸﴾
So when he saw his shirt torn from behind, he said: Lo! this is of the guile of you women. Lo! the guile of you is very great. ﴾28﴿
ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙ Ø§ÙŽØ¹Û¡Ø±ÙØ¶Û¡ عَنۡ Ù‡Ù°Ø°ÙŽØ§Ø³Ú©ØªÛ ÙˆÙŽØ§Ø³Û¡ØªÙŽØºÛ¡ÙÙØ±ÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù„ÙØ°ÙŽÙ†Û¡Û¢Ø¨ÙÙƒÙÛ– ‌ۚ اÙنَّك٠كÙنۡت٠مÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ø®Ù°Ø·ÙØ¦Ùيۡنَ†﴿۲۹﴾
O Joseph! Turn away from this, and thou, (O woman), ask forgiveness for thy sin. Lo! thou art of the faulty. ﴾29﴿
وَقَالَ Ù†ÙØ³Û¡ÙˆÙŽØ©ÙŒ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡمَدÙيۡنَة٠امۡرَاَت٠الۡعَزÙÙŠÛ¡Ø²Ù ØªÙØ±ÙŽØ§ÙˆÙد٠Ùَتٰٮهَا عَنۡ نَّـÙۡسÙهٖ‌ۚ قَدۡ شَغَÙَهَا ØÙبًّا‌ؕ اÙنَّا لَـنَرٰٮهَا ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø¶ÙŽÙ„Ù°Ù„Ù Ù…Ù‘ÙØ¨Ùيۡنن﴿۳۰﴾
And women in the city said: The ruler's wife is asking of her slave-boy an ill-deed. Indeed he has smitten her to the heart with love. We behold her in plain aberration. ﴾30﴿
Ùَلَمَّا Ø³ÙŽÙ…ÙØ¹ÙŽØªÛ¡ بÙمَكۡرÙÙ‡Ùنَّ اَرۡسَلَتۡ اÙÙ„ÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ùنَّ وَاَعۡتَدَتۡ Ù„ÙŽÙ‡Ùنَّ Ù…ÙØªÙ‘َكَـاً وَّاٰتَتۡ ÙƒÙلَّ وَاØÙدَة٠مّÙÙ†Û¡Ù‡Ùنَّ سÙكّÙيۡنًا ÙˆÙ‘ÙŽÙ‚ÙŽØ§Ù„ÙŽØªÙ Ø§Ø®Û¡Ø±ÙØ¬Û¡ عَلَيۡهÙنَّ‌ۚ Ùَلَمَّا رَاَيۡنَهٗۤ اَكۡبَرۡنَهٗ وَقَطَّعۡنَ اَيۡدÙÙŠÙŽÙ‡Ùنَّ ÙˆÙŽÙ‚ÙÙ„Û¡Ù†ÙŽ ØÙŽØ§Ø´ÙŽ Ù„Ùلّٰه٠مَا هٰذَا بَشَرًاؕ اÙÙ†Û¡ هٰذَاۤ اÙلَّا Ù…ÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙƒÙŒ كَرÙيۡمٌ†﴿۳۱﴾
And when she heard of their sly talk, she sent to them and prepared for them a cushioned couch (to lie on at the feast) and gave to every one of them a knife and said (to Joseph): Come out unto them! And when they saw him they exalted him and cut their hands, exclaiming: Allah Blameless! This is no a human being. This is not other than some gracious angel. ﴾31﴿
قَالَتۡ ÙَذٰلÙÙƒÙنَّ الَّذÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù„ÙمۡتÙنَّنÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù‌ؕ ÙˆÙŽ لَـقَدۡ رَاوَدتّÙهٗ عَنۡ نَّـÙۡسÙهٖ Ùَاسۡتَعۡصَمَ‌ؕ وَلَٮٕÙÙ†Û¡ لَّمۡ ÙŠÙŽÙۡعَلۡ مَاۤ Ø§Ù°Ù…ÙØ±Ùهٗ Ù„ÙŽÙ€ÙŠÙØ³Û¡Ø¬ÙŽÙ†ÙŽÙ†Ù‘ÙŽ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙŠÙŽÙƒÙوۡنًا مّÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„ØµÙ‘Ù°ØºÙØ±Ùيۡنَ†﴿۳۲﴾
She said: This is he on whose account ye blamed me. I asked of him an evil act, but he proved continent, but if he do not my behest he verily shall be imprisoned, and verily shall be of those brought low. ﴾32﴿
قَالَ Ø±ÙŽØ¨Ù‘Ù Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬Û¡Ù†Ù اَØÙŽØ¨Ù‘٠اÙلَىَّ Ù…Ùمَّا يَدۡعÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽÙ†ÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اÙÙ„ÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù‌ۚ وَاÙلَّا تَصۡرÙÙÛ¡ عَنّÙÙ‰Û¡ كَيۡدَهÙنَّ اَصۡب٠اÙÙ„ÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ùنَّ وَاَكÙÙ†Û¡ مّÙÙ†ÙŽ الۡجٰهÙÙ„Ùيۡنَ†﴿۳۳﴾
He said: O my Lord! Prison is more dear than that unto which they urge me, and if Thou fend not off their wiles from me I shall incline unto them and become of the foolish. ﴾33﴿
Ùَاسۡتَجَابَ لَهٗ رَبّÙهٗ ÙَصَرَÙÙŽ عَنۡه٠كَيۡدَهÙنَّ‌ؕ اÙنَّهٗ Ù‡ÙÙˆÙŽ السَّمÙيۡع٠الۡعَلÙيۡمن﴿۳۴﴾
So his Lord heard his prayer and fended off their wiles from him. Lo! He is Hearer, Knower. ﴾34﴿
Ø«Ùمَّ بَدَا Ù„ÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ مّÙÙ†Û¡Û¢ بَعۡد٠مَا Ø±ÙŽØ§ÙŽÙˆÙØ§ الۡاٰيٰت٠لَيَسۡجÙÙ†Ùـنَّهٗ ØÙŽØªÙ‘ٰى ØÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†Ù†﴿۳۵﴾
And it seemed good to them (the men-folk) after they had seen the signs (of his innocence) to imprison him for a time. ﴾35﴿
وَدَخَلَ Ù…ÙŽØ¹ÙŽÙ‡Ù Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬Û¡Ù†ÙŽ ÙَتَيٰنÙ‌ؕ قَالَ اَØÙŽØ¯ÙÙ‡Ùمَاۤ اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَرٰٮنÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ Ø§ÙŽØ¹Û¡ØµÙØ±Ù خَمۡرًا‌ۚ وَّقَالَ الۡاٰخَر٠اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَرٰٮنÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَØÛ¡Ù…ÙÙ„Ù ÙÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù‚ÙŽ رَاۡسÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø®ÙØ¨Û¡Ø²Ù‹Ø§ تَاۡكÙل٠الطَّيۡر٠مÙÙ†Û¡Ù‡Ù‌ؕ Ù†ÙŽØ¨Ù‘ÙØ¦Û¡Ù†ÙŽØ§ Ø¨ÙØªÙŽØ§Û¡ÙˆÙÙŠÛ¡Ù„Ùهٖۚ اÙنَّا نَرٰٮكَ Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØÛ¡Ø³ÙÙ†Ùيۡنَ†﴿۳۶﴾
And two young men went to prison with him. One of them said: I dreamed that I was pressing wine. The other said: I dreamed that I was carrying upon my head bread whereof the birds were eating. Announce unto us the interpretation, for we see thee of those good (at interpretation). ﴾36﴿
قَالَ لَا يَاۡتÙÙŠÛ¡ÙƒÙمَا طَعَامٌ ØªÙØ±Û¡Ø²ÙŽÙ‚ٰنÙهٖۤ اÙلَّا نَـبَّاۡتÙÙƒÙمَا Ø¨ÙØªÙŽØ§Û¡ÙˆÙÙŠÛ¡Ù„Ùهٖ قَبۡلَ اَنۡ يَّاۡتÙÙŠÙŽÙƒÙمَا‌ؕ ذٰلÙÙƒÙمَا Ù…Ùمَّا عَلَّمَنÙÙ‰Û¡ رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡Ø• اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡ تَرَكۡت٠مÙلَّةَ قَوۡم٠لَّا ÙŠÙØ¤Û¡Ù…ÙÙ†ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„لّٰه٠وَهÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„Û¡Ø§Ù°Ø®ÙØ±ÙŽØ©Ù Ù‡ÙÙ…Û¡ كٰÙÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۳۷﴾
He said: The food which ye are given (daily) shall not come unto you but I shall tell you the interpretation ere it cometh unto you. This is of that which my Lord hath taught me. Lo! I have forsaken the religion of folk who believe not in Allah and are disbelievers in the Hereafter. ﴾37﴿
وَاتَّبَعۡت٠مÙلَّةَ اٰبَآءÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ Ø§ÙØ¨Û¡Ø±Ù°Ù‡ÙÙŠÛ¡Ù…ÙŽ ÙˆÙŽØ§ÙØ³Û¡ØÙ°Ù‚ÙŽ وَيَعۡقÙوۡبَ‌ؕ مَا كَانَ لَنَاۤ اَنۡ Ù†Ù‘ÙØ´Û¡Ø±ÙÙƒÙŽ Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„لّٰه٠مÙÙ†Û¡ Ø´ÙŽÙ‰Û¡Ø¡Ù‌ؕ ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ Ùَضۡل٠اللّٰه٠عَلَيۡنَا وَعَلَى النَّاس٠وَلٰـكÙنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاس٠لَا ÙŠÙŽØ´Û¡ÙƒÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۳۸﴾
And I have followed the religion of my fathers, Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. It never was for us to attribute aught as partner to Allah. This is of the bounty of Allah unto us (the seed of Abraham) and unto mankind; but most men give not thanks. ﴾38﴿
يٰصَاØÙØ¨ÙŽÙ‰Ù Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬Û¡Ù†Ù ءَاَرۡبَابٌ Ù…Ù‘ÙØªÙŽÙَرّÙÙ‚ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ خَيۡرٌ اَم٠اللّٰه٠الۡوَاØÙØ¯Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù‚ÙŽÙ‡Ù‘ÙŽØ§Ø±ÙØ•†﴿۳۹﴾
O my fellow-prisoners! Are divers lords better, or Allah the One, Almighty? ﴾39﴿
مَا ØªÙŽØ¹Û¡Ø¨ÙØ¯ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ دÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†Ùهٖۤ اÙلَّاۤ اَسۡمَآءً سَمَّيۡتÙÙ…Ùوۡهَاۤ اَنۡـتÙÙ…Û¡ ÙˆÙŽ اٰبَآؤÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ مَّاۤ اَنۡزَلَ اللّٰه٠بÙهَا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ سÙلۡطٰنÙ‌ؕ اÙن٠الۡØÙكۡم٠اÙلَّا Ù„ÙلّٰهÙ‌ؕ اَمَرَ اَلَّا ØªÙŽØ¹Û¡Ø¨ÙØ¯Ùوۡۤا اÙلَّاۤ اÙيَّاهÙ‌ؕ ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ الدّÙيۡن٠الۡقَيّÙم٠وَلٰـكÙنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاس٠لَا يَعۡلَمÙوۡنَ†﴿۴۰﴾
Those whom ye worship beside Him are but names which ye have named, ye and your fathers. Allah hath revealed no sanction for them. The decision rests with Allah only, Who hath commanded you that ye worship none save Him. This is the right religion, but most men know not. ﴾40﴿
يٰصَاØÙØ¨ÙŽÙ‰Ù Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬Û¡Ù†Ù اَمَّاۤ اَØÙŽØ¯ÙÙƒÙمَا ÙَيَسۡقÙÙ‰Û¡ رَبَّهٗ خَمۡرًا‌ۚ وَاَمَّا الۡاٰخَر٠ÙÙŽÙŠÙØµÛ¡Ù„َب٠ÙَتَاۡكÙل٠الطَّيۡر٠مÙÙ†Û¡ رَّاۡسÙهٖ‌ؕ Ù‚ÙØ¶ÙÙ‰ÙŽ الۡاَمۡر٠الَّذÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙÙيۡه٠تَسۡتَÙۡتÙÙŠÙ°Ù†ÙØ•†﴿۴۱﴾
O my two fellow-prisoners! As for one of you, he will pour out wine for his lord to drink; and as for the other, he will be crucified so that the birds will eat from his head. Thus is the case judged concerning which ye did inquire. ﴾41﴿
وَقَالَ Ù„ÙلَّذÙÙ‰Û¡ ظَنَّ اَنَّهٗ نَاج٠مّÙÙ†Û¡Ù‡Ùمَا Ø§Ø°Û¡ÙƒÙØ±Û¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ عÙنۡدَ رَبّÙكَ Ùَاَنۡسٰٮه٠الشَّيۡطٰن٠ذÙكۡرَ رَبّÙهٖ ÙÙŽÙ„ÙŽØ¨ÙØ«ÙŽ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬Û¡Ù†Ù Ø¨ÙØ¶Û¡Ø¹ÙŽ Ø³ÙÙ†Ùيۡنَ†﴿۴۲﴾
And he said unto him of the twain who he knew would be released: Mention me in the presence of thy lord. But Satan caused him to forget to mention it to his lord, so he (Joseph) stayed in prison for some years. ﴾42﴿
وَقَالَ الۡمَلÙك٠اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَرٰى سَبۡعَ بَقَرٰت٠سÙمَان٠يَّاۡكÙÙ„ÙÙ‡Ùنَّ سَبۡعٌ Ø¹ÙØ¬ÙŽØ§ÙÙŒ وَّسَبۡعَ سÙنۡۢبÙÙ„Ù°ØªÙ Ø®ÙØ¶Û¡Ø±Ù ÙˆÙ‘ÙŽØ§ÙØ®ÙŽØ±ÙŽ ÙŠÙ°Ø¨ÙØ³Ù°ØªÙ‌ؕ يٰۤاَيّÙهَا الۡمَلَا٠اَÙۡتÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø±ÙØ¡Û¡ÙŠÙŽØ§Ù‰ÙŽ Ø§ÙÙ†Û¡ ÙƒÙنۡتÙÙ…Û¡ Ù„ÙÙ„Ø±Ù‘ÙØ¡Û¡ÙŠÙŽØ§ ØªÙŽØ¹Û¡Ø¨ÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۴۳﴾
And the king said: Lo! I saw in a dream seven fat kine which seven lean were eating, and seven green ears of corn and other (seven) dry. O notables! Expound for me my vision, if ye can interpret dreams. ﴾43﴿
قَالÙوۡۤا اَضۡغَاث٠اَØÛ¡Ù„َامÙÛš وَمَا Ù†ÙŽØÛ¡Ù†Ù Ø¨ÙØªÙŽØ§Û¡ÙˆÙيۡل٠الۡاَØÛ¡Ù„ÙŽØ§Ù…Ù Ø¨ÙØ¹Ù°Ù„ÙÙ…Ùيۡنَ†﴿۴۴﴾
They answered: Jumbled dreams! And we are not knowing in the interpretation of dreams. ﴾44﴿
وَقَالَ الَّذÙÙ‰Û¡ نَجَا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡Ù‡Ùمَا وَادَّكَرَ بَعۡدَ اÙمَّة٠اَنَا اÙÙ†ÙŽÙ€Ø¨Ù‘ÙØ¦ÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¨ÙØªÙŽØ§Û¡ÙˆÙÙŠÛ¡Ù„Ùهٖ ÙَاَرۡسÙÙ„Ùوۡنن﴿۴۵﴾
And he of the two who was released, and (now) at length remembered, said: I am going to announce unto you the interpretation, therefore send me forth. ﴾45﴿
ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙ٠اَيّÙهَا Ø§Ù„ØµÙ‘ÙØ¯Ù‘Ùيۡق٠اَÙۡتÙنَا ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ سَبۡع٠بَقَرٰت٠سÙمَان٠يَّاۡكÙÙ„ÙÙ‡Ùنَّ سَبۡعٌ Ø¹ÙØ¬ÙŽØ§ÙÙŒ وَّسَبۡع٠سÙنۡۢبÙÙ„Ù°ØªÙ Ø®ÙØ¶Û¡Ø±Ù ÙˆÙ‘ÙŽØ§ÙØ®ÙŽØ±ÙŽ ÙŠÙ°Ø¨ÙØ³Ù°ØªÙ لَّعَلّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ Ø§ÙŽØ±Û¡Ø¬ÙØ¹Ù اÙÙ„ÙŽÙ‰ النَّاس٠لَعَلَّهÙÙ…Û¡ يَعۡلَمÙوۡنَ†﴿۴۶﴾
(And when he came to Joseph in the prison, he exclaimed): Joseph! O thou truthful one! Expound for us the seven fat kine which seven lean were eating and the seven green ears of corn and other (seven) dry, that I may return unto the people, so that they may know. ﴾46﴿
قَالَ تَزۡرَعÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ سَبۡعَ سÙÙ†ÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ دَاَبًا‌ۚ Ùَمَا ØÙŽØµÙŽØ¯ØªÙ‘ÙÙ…Û¡ ÙَذَرÙÙˆÛ¡Ù‡Ù ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ سÙنۡۢبÙÙ„Ùهٖۤ اÙلَّا Ù‚ÙŽÙ„Ùيۡلاً مّÙمَّا تَاۡكÙÙ„Ùوۡنَ†﴿۴۷﴾
He said: Ye shall sow seven years as usual, but that which ye reap, leave it in the ear, all save a little which ye eat. ﴾47﴿
Ø«Ùمَّ يَاۡتÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡Û¢ بَعۡد٠ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ سَبۡعٌ Ø´ÙØ¯ÙŽØ§Ø¯ÙŒ يَّاۡكÙÙ„Û¡Ù†ÙŽ مَا قَدَّمۡتÙÙ…Û¡ Ù„ÙŽÙ‡Ùنَّ اÙلَّا Ù‚ÙŽÙ„Ùيۡلاً مّÙمَّا ØªÙØÛ¡ØµÙÙ†Ùوۡنَ†﴿۴۸﴾
Then after that will come seven hard years which will devour all that ye have prepared for them, save a little of that which ye have stored. ﴾48﴿
Ø«Ùمَّ يَاۡتÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡Û¢ بَعۡد٠ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ عَامٌ ÙÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù ÙŠÙØºÙŽØ§Ø«Ù النَّاس٠وَÙÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù ÙŠÙŽØ¹Û¡ØµÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۴۹﴾
Then, after that, will come a year when the people will have plenteous crops and when they will press (wine and oil). ﴾49﴿
وَقَالَ الۡمَلÙك٠ائۡتÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ بÙهٖ‌ۚ Ùَلَمَّا جَآءَه٠الرَّسÙوۡل٠قَالَ Ø§Ø±Û¡Ø¬ÙØ¹Û¡ اÙلٰى رَبّÙÙƒÙŽ Ùَسۡــَٔلۡه٠مَا Ø¨ÙŽØ§Ù„Ù Ø§Ù„Ù†Ù‘ÙØ³Û¡ÙˆÙŽØ©Ù الّٰتÙÙ‰Û¡ قَطَّعۡنَ اَيۡدÙÙŠÙŽÙ‡Ùنَّ‌ؕ اÙنَّ رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡ بÙكَيۡدÙÙ‡Ùنَّ عَلÙيۡمٌ†﴿۵۰﴾
And the king said: Bring him unto me. And when the messenger came unto him, he (Joseph) said: Return unto thy lord and ask him what was the case of the women who cut their hands. Lo! my Lord knoweth their guile. ﴾50﴿
قَالَ مَا خَطۡبÙÙƒÙنَّ Ø§ÙØ°Û¡ رَاوَدتّÙنَّ ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ عَنۡ نَّـÙۡسÙهٖ‌ؕ Ù‚ÙÙ„Û¡Ù†ÙŽ ØÙŽØ§Ø´ÙŽ Ù„Ùلّٰه٠مَا عَلÙمۡنَا عَلَيۡه٠مÙÙ†Û¡ سÙوۡۤءÙ‌ؕ قَالَت٠امۡرَاَت٠الۡعَزÙيۡز٠الۡــٰٔنَ ØÙŽØµÛ¡ØÙŽØµÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡ØÙŽÙ‚Ù‘Ù اَنَا رَاوَدْتّÙهٗ عَنۡ نَّـÙۡسÙهٖ وَاÙنَّهٗ Ù„ÙŽÙ…ÙÙ†ÙŽ الصّٰدÙÙ‚Ùيۡنَ†﴿۵۱﴾
He (the king) (then sent for those women and) said: What happened when ye asked an evil act of Joseph? They answered: Allah Blameless! We know no evil of him. Said the wife of the ruler: Now the truth is out. I asked of him an evil act, and he is surely of the truthful. ﴾51﴿
ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ Ù„Ùيَـعۡلَمَ اَنّÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ اَخÙÙ†Û¡Ù‡Ù Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„ۡغَيۡب٠وَاَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يَهۡدÙÙ‰Û¡ كَيۡدَ الۡخَـآٮٕÙÙ†Ùيۡنَ†﴿۵۲﴾
(Then Joseph said: I asked for) this, that he (my lord) may know that I betrayed him not in secret, and that surely Allah guideth not the snare of the betrayers. ﴾52﴿
وَمَاۤ Ø§ÙØ¨ÙŽØ±Ù‘ÙØ¦Ù Ù†ÙŽÙۡسÙىۡ‌ۚ اÙنَّ النَّÙۡسَ لَاَمَّارَةٌۢ Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„سّÙوۡٓء٠اÙلَّا مَا رَØÙÙ…ÙŽ رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡ ؕاÙنَّ رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡ غَÙÙوۡرٌ رَّØÙيۡمٌ†﴿۵۳﴾
I do not exculpate myself. Lo! the (human) soul enjoineth unto evil, save that whereon my Lord hath mercy. Lo! my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful. ﴾53﴿
وَقَالَ الۡمَلÙك٠ائۡتÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ بÙهٖۤ Ø§ÙŽØ³Û¡ØªÙŽØ®Û¡Ù„ÙØµÛ¡Ù‡Ù Ù„ÙÙ†ÙŽÙۡسÙىۡ‌ۚ‌ Ùَلَمَّا كَلَّمَهٗ قَالَ اÙنَّكَ الۡيَوۡمَ لَدَيۡنَا Ù…ÙŽÙƒÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŒ اَمÙيۡنٌ†﴿۵۴﴾
And the king said: Bring him unto me that I may attach him to my person. And when he had talked with him he said: Lo! thou art to-day in our presence established and trusted. ﴾54﴿
قَالَ اجۡعَلۡنÙÙ‰Û¡ عَلٰى خَزَآٮٕÙن٠الۡاَرۡضÙ‌ۚ اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡ ØÙŽÙÙيۡظٌ عَلÙيۡمٌ†﴿۵۵﴾
He said: Set me over the storehouses of the land. Lo! I am a skilled custodian. ﴾55﴿
وَكَذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ مَكَّنَّا Ù„ÙÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡاَرۡضÙ‌ۚ يَتَبَوَّا٠مÙنۡهَا ØÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ø«Ù يَشَآءÙ‌ؕ Ù†ÙØµÙÙŠÛ¡Ø¨Ù Ø¨ÙØ±ÙŽØÛ¡Ù…ÙŽØªÙنَا Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ نَّشَآءÙ‌ۚ وَلَا Ù†ÙØ¶Ùيۡع٠اَجۡرَ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØÛ¡Ø³ÙÙ†Ùيۡنَ†﴿۵۶﴾
Thus gave We power to Joseph in the land. He was the owner of it where he pleased. We reach with Our mercy whom We will. We lose not the reward of the good. ﴾56﴿
ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽØ§ÙŽØ¬Û¡Ø±Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ø§Ù°Ø®ÙØ±ÙŽØ©Ù خَيۡرٌ لّÙـلَّذÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ اٰمَنÙوۡا وَكَانÙوۡا يَتَّقÙوۡنَ†﴿۵۷﴾
And the reward of the Hereafter is better, for those who believe and ward off (evil). ﴾57﴿
وَجَآءَ Ø§ÙØ®Û¡ÙˆÙŽØ©Ù ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ ÙَدَخَلÙوۡا عَلَيۡه٠ÙَعَرَÙÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ لَهٗ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ÙƒÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۵۸﴾
And Joseph's brethren came and presented themselves before him, and he knew them but they knew him not. ﴾58﴿
ÙˆÙŽ لَمَّا جَهَّزَهÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ¬ÙŽÙ‡ÙŽØ§Ø²ÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ قَالَ ائۡتÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ§ÙŽØ®Ù لَّكÙÙ…Û¡ مّÙÙ†Û¡ اَبÙÙŠÛ¡ÙƒÙمۡ‌ۚ اَلَا تَرَوۡنَ اَنّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اÙÙˆÛ¡ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡكَيۡلَ وَاَنَا خَيۡر٠الۡمÙنۡزÙÙ„Ùيۡنَ†﴿۵۹﴾
And when he provided them with their provision he said: Bring unto me a brother of yours from your father. See ye not that I fill up the measure and I am the best of hosts? ﴾59﴿
ÙَاÙÙ†Û¡ لَّمۡ تَاۡتÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ بÙهٖ Ùَلَا ÙƒÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŽ لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ عÙنۡدÙÙ‰Û¡ وَلَا تَقۡرَبÙوۡنن﴿۶۰﴾
And if ye bring him not unto me, then there shall be no measure for you with me, nor shall ye draw near. ﴾60﴿
قَالÙوۡا Ø³ÙŽÙ†ÙØ±ÙŽØ§ÙˆÙد٠عَنۡه٠اَبَاه٠وَاÙنَّا Ù„ÙŽÙٰعÙÙ„Ùوۡنَ†﴿۶۱﴾
They said: We will try to win him from his father: that we will surely do. ﴾61﴿
وَقَالَ Ù„ÙÙÙØªÛ¡ÙŠÙ°Ù†Ùه٠اجۡعَلÙوۡا Ø¨ÙØ¶ÙŽØ§Ø¹ÙŽØªÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø±ÙØÙŽØ§Ù„ÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ لَعَلَّهÙÙ…Û¡ يَعۡرÙÙÙوۡنَهَاۤ Ø§ÙØ°ÙŽØ§ انقَلَبÙوۡۤا اÙلٰٓى اَهۡلÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ لَعَلَّهÙÙ…Û¡ ÙŠÙŽØ±Û¡Ø¬ÙØ¹Ùوۡنَ†﴿۶۲﴾
He said unto his young men: Place their merchandise in their saddlebags, so that they may know it when they go back to their folk, and so will come again. ﴾62﴿
Ùَلَمَّا رَجَعÙوۡۤا اÙلٰٓى اَبÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡ÙÙ…Û¡ قَالÙوۡا يٰۤاَبَانَا Ù…ÙÙ†ÙØ¹ÙŽ Ù…Ùنَّا الۡكَيۡل٠ÙَاَرۡسÙÙ„Û¡ مَعَنَاۤ اَخَانَا نَكۡتَلۡ وَاÙنَّا لَهٗ Ù„ÙŽØÙ°Ù€ÙÙØ¸Ùوۡنَ†﴿۶۳﴾
So when they went back to their father they said: O our father! The measure is denied us, so send with us our brother that we may obtain the measure, surely we will guard him well. ﴾63﴿
قَالَ Ù‡ÙŽÙ„Û¡ اٰمَنÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ عَلَيۡه٠اÙلَّا كَمَاۤ اَمÙنۡتÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ عَلٰٓى اَخÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ قَبۡلÙ‌ؕ Ùَاللّٰه٠خَيۡرٌ ØÙ°ÙÙØ¸Ù‹Ø§â€Œî€› وَّهÙÙˆÙŽ اَرۡØÙŽÙ…٠الرّٰØÙÙ…Ùيۡنَ†﴿۶۴﴾
He said: Can I entrust him to you save as I entrusted his brother to you aforetime? Allah is better at guarding, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. ﴾64﴿
وَلَمَّا ÙَتَØÙوۡا مَتَاعَهÙÙ…Û¡ وَجَدÙوۡا Ø¨ÙØ¶ÙŽØ§Ø¹ÙŽØªÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ø±ÙØ¯Ù‘َتۡ اÙÙ„ÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù‡ÙÙ…Û¡Ø• قَالÙوۡا يٰۤاَبَانَا مَا نَـبۡغÙÙ‰Û¡Ø• هٰذÙهٖ Ø¨ÙØ¶ÙŽØ§Ø¹ÙŽØªÙنَا Ø±ÙØ¯Ù‘َتۡ اÙلَيۡنَا‌ۚ ÙˆÙŽÙ†ÙŽÙ…Ùيۡر٠اَهۡلَنَا ÙˆÙŽÙ†ÙŽØÛ¡Ùَظ٠اَخَانَا وَنَزۡدَاد٠كَيۡلَ بَعÙيۡرÙ‌ؕ ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ ÙƒÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŒ يَّسÙيۡرٌ†﴿۶۵﴾
And when they opened their belongings they discovered that their merchandise had been returned to them. They said: O our father! What (more) can we ask? Here is our merchandise returned to us. We shall get provision for our folk and guard our brother, and we shall have the extra measure of a camel (load). This (that we bring now) is a light measure. ﴾65﴿
قَالَ Ù„ÙŽÙ†Û¡ Ø§ÙØ±Û¡Ø³Ùلَهٗ مَعَكÙÙ…Û¡ ØÙŽØªÙ‘ٰى ØªÙØ¤Û¡ØªÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†Ù Ù…ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ø«Ùقًا مّÙÙ†ÙŽ اللّٰه٠لَــتَاۡتÙنَّنÙÙ‰Û¡ بÙهٖۤ اÙلَّاۤ اَنۡ ÙŠÙ‘ÙØÙŽØ§Ø·ÙŽ بÙÙƒÙمۡ‌ۚ Ùَلَمَّاۤ اٰتَوۡه٠مَوۡثÙÙ‚ÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ قَالَ اللّٰه٠عَلٰى مَا Ù†ÙŽÙ‚ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù„Ù ÙˆÙŽÙƒÙيۡلٌ†﴿۶۶﴾
He said: I will not send him with you till ye give me an undertaking in the name of Allah that ye will bring him back to me, unless ye are surrounded. And when they gave him their undertaking he said: Allah is the Warden over what we say. ﴾66﴿
وَقَالَ يٰبَنÙىَّ لَا تَدۡخÙÙ„Ùوۡا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡Û¢ بَاب٠وَّاØÙد٠وَّادۡخÙÙ„Ùوۡا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ Ø§ÙŽØ¨Û¡ÙˆÙŽØ§Ø¨Ù Ù…Ù‘ÙØªÙŽÙَرّÙÙ‚ÙŽØ©Ù‌ؕ وَمَاۤ Ø§ÙØºÛ¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ عَنۡكÙÙ…Û¡ مّÙÙ†ÙŽ اللّٰه٠مÙÙ†Û¡ Ø´ÙŽÙ‰Û¡Ø¡ÙØ•‌ اÙن٠الۡØÙكۡم٠اÙلَّا Ù„ÙلّٰهÙ‌ؕ عَلَيۡه٠تَوَكَّلۡتÙ‌ۚ وَعَلَيۡه٠ÙÙŽÙ„Û¡ÙŠÙŽØªÙŽÙˆÙŽÙƒÙ‘ÙŽÙ„Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØªÙŽÙˆÙŽÙƒÙ‘ÙÙ„Ùوۡنَ†﴿۶۷﴾
And he said: O my sons! Go not in by one gate; go in by different gates. I can naught avail you as against Allah. Lo! the decision rests with Allah only. In Him do I put my trust, and in Him let all the trusting put their trust. ﴾67﴿
وَلَمَّا دَخَلÙوۡا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ ØÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ø«Ù اَمَرَهÙÙ…Û¡ اَبÙÙˆÛ¡Ù‡ÙÙ…Û¡ ؕمَا كَانَ ÙŠÙØºÛ¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ عَنۡهÙÙ…Û¡ مّÙÙ†ÙŽ اللّٰه٠مÙÙ†Û¡ شَىۡء٠اÙلَّا ØÙŽØ§Ø¬ÙŽØ©Ù‹ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù†ÙŽÙۡس٠يَعۡقÙوۡبَ قَضٰٮهَا‌ؕ وَاÙنَّهٗ لَذÙÙˆÛ¡ عÙلۡم٠لّÙمَا عَلَّمۡنٰه٠وَلٰكÙنَّ اَكۡثَرَ النَّاس٠لَا يَعۡلَمÙوۡنَ†﴿۶۸﴾
And when they entered in the manner which their father had enjoined, it would have naught availed them as against Allah; it was but a need of Jacob's soul which he thus satisfied; and lo! he was a lord of knowledge because We had taught him; but most of mankind know not. ﴾68﴿
وَلَمَّا دَخَلÙوۡا عَلٰى ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ اَاوٰٓى اÙلَيۡه٠اَخَاهÙ‌ؕ قَالَ اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَنَا اَخÙÙˆÛ¡ÙƒÙŽ Ùَلَا ØªÙŽØ¨Û¡ØªÙŽÙ®Ù•ÙØ³Û¡ بÙمَا كَانÙوۡا يَعۡمَلÙوۡنَ†﴿۶۹﴾
And when they went in before Joseph, he took his brother unto him, saying: Lo! I, even I, am thy brother, therefore sorrow not for what they did. ﴾69﴿
Ùَلَمَّا جَهَّزَهÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ¬ÙŽÙ‡ÙŽØ§Ø²ÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ جَعَلَ السّÙقَايَةَ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ رَØÛ¡Ù„٠اَخÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù Ø«Ùمَّ اَذَّنَ Ù…ÙØ¤ÙŽØ°Ù‘ÙÙ†ÙŒ اَيَّتÙهَا الۡعÙيۡر٠اÙنَّكÙÙ…Û¡ لَسَارÙÙ‚Ùوۡنَ†﴿۷۰﴾
And when he provided them with their provision, he put the drinking-cup in his brother's saddlebag, and then a crier cried: O camel-riders! Lo! ye are surely thieves! ﴾70﴿
قَالÙوۡا وَاَقۡبَلÙوۡا عَلَيۡهÙÙ…Û¡ مَّاذَا تَÙÛ¡Ù‚ÙØ¯Ùوۡنَ†﴿۷۱﴾
They cried, coming toward them: What is it ye have lost? ﴾71﴿
قَالÙوۡا Ù†ÙŽÙÛ¡Ù‚ÙØ¯Ù صÙوَاعَ الۡمَلÙÙƒÙ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙÙ…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ جَآءَ بÙهٖ ØÙمۡل٠بَعÙيۡر٠وَّاَنَا بÙهٖ زَعÙيۡمٌ†﴿۷۲﴾
They said: We have lost the king's cup, and he who bringeth it shall have a camel-load, and I (said Joseph) am answerable for it. ﴾72﴿
قَالÙوۡا تَاللّٰه٠لَـقَدۡ عَلÙمۡتÙÙ…Û¡ مَّا Ø¬ÙØ¦Û¡Ù†ÙŽØ§ Ù„ÙـنÙÙÛ¡Ø³ÙØ¯ÙŽ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡاَرۡض٠وَمَا ÙƒÙنَّا سَارÙÙ‚Ùيۡنَ†﴿۷۳﴾
They said: By Allah, well ye know we came not to do evil in the land, and are no thieves. ﴾73﴿
قَالÙوۡا Ùَمَا جَزَاۤؤÙهٗۤ اÙÙ†Û¡ ÙƒÙنۡتÙÙ…Û¡ ÙƒÙ°Ø°ÙØ¨Ùيۡنَ†﴿۷۴﴾
They said: And what shall be the penalty for it, if ye prove liars? ﴾74﴿
قَالÙوۡا جَزَاۤؤÙهٗ Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ ÙˆÙ‘ÙØ¬Ùدَ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ رَØÛ¡Ù„Ùهٖ ÙÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ جَزَاۤؤÙهٗ‌ؕ كَذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ نَجۡزÙÙ‰Û¡ الظّٰلÙÙ…Ùيۡنَ†﴿۷۵﴾
They said: The penalty for it! He in whose bag (the cup) is found, he is the penalty for it. Thus we requite wrong-doers. ﴾75﴿
Ùَبَدَاَ Ø¨ÙØ§ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ø¹ÙيَتÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ قَبۡلَ ÙˆÙØ¹ÙŽØ§Ù“ء٠اَخÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù Ø«Ùمَّ اسۡتَخۡرَجَهَا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ ÙˆÙ‘ÙØ¹ÙŽØ§Ù“ء٠اَخÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù‌ؕ كَذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ ÙƒÙØ¯Û¡Ù†ÙŽØ§ Ù„ÙÙŠÙوۡسÙÙَ‌ؕ مَا كَانَ Ù„ÙÙŠÙŽØ§Û¡Ø®ÙØ°ÙŽ Ø§ÙŽØ®ÙŽØ§Ù‡Ù ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ دÙيۡن٠الۡمَلÙك٠اÙلَّاۤ اَنۡ يَّشَآءَ اللّٰهÙ‌ؕ نَرۡÙَع٠دَرَجٰت٠مَّنۡ نَّشَآءÙ‌ؕ ÙˆÙŽÙÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù‚ÙŽ ÙƒÙلّ٠ذÙÙ‰Û¡ عÙلۡم٠عَلÙيۡمٌ†﴿۷۶﴾
Then he (Joseph) began the search with their bags before his brother's bag, then he produced it from his brother's bag. Thus did We contrive for Joseph. He could not have taken his brother according to the king's law unless Allah willed. We raise by grades (of mercy) whom We will, and over every lord of knowledge there is one more knowing. ﴾76﴿
قَالÙوۡۤا اÙÙ†Û¡ يَّسۡرÙÙ‚Û¡ Ùَقَدۡ سَرَقَ اَخٌ لَّهٗ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ قَبۡلÙ‌ۚ Ùَاَسَرَّهَا ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù†ÙŽÙۡسÙهٖ ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ ÙŠÙØ¨Û¡Ø¯Ùهَا Ù„ÙŽÙ‡Ùمۡ‌ۚ قَالَ اَنۡـتÙÙ…Û¡ شَرٌّ مَّكَانًا‌ۚ وَاللّٰه٠اَعۡلَم٠بÙمَا تَصÙÙÙوۡنَ†﴿۷۷﴾
They said: If he stealeth, a brother of his stole before. But Joseph kept it secret in his soul and revealed it not unto them. He said (within himself): Ye are in worse case, and Allah knoweth best (the truth of) that which ye allege. ﴾77﴿
قَالÙوۡا يٰۤاَيّÙهَا الۡعَزÙيۡز٠اÙنَّ لَهٗۤ اَبًا شَيۡخًا كَبÙيۡرًا ÙÙŽØ®ÙØ°Û¡ اَØÙŽØ¯ÙŽÙ†ÙŽØ§ مَكَانَهٗۚ اÙنَّا نَرٰٮكَ Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØÛ¡Ø³ÙÙ†Ùيۡنَ†﴿۷۸﴾
They said: O ruler of the land! Lo! he hath a very aged father, so take one of us instead of him. Lo! we behold thee of those who do kindness. ﴾78﴿
قَالَ مَعَاذَ اللّٰه٠اَنۡ Ù†Ù‘ÙŽØ§Û¡Ø®ÙØ°ÙŽ Ø§Ùلَّا Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ وَّجَدۡنَا مَتَاعَنَا عÙنۡدَهٗۤ ۙ اÙنَّاۤ Ø§ÙØ°Ù‹Ø§ لَّظٰلÙÙ…Ùوۡنَ†﴿۷۹﴾
He said: Allah forbid that we should seize save him with whom we found our property; then truly we should be wrong-doers. ﴾79﴿
Ùَلَمَّا اسۡتَيۡــَٔسÙوۡا Ù…Ùنۡه٠خَلَصÙوۡا نَجÙيًّا‌ؕ قَالَ كَبÙيۡرÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ اَلَمۡ تَعۡلَمÙوۡۤا اَنَّ اَبَاكÙÙ…Û¡ قَدۡ اَخَذَ عَلَيۡكÙÙ…Û¡ مَّوۡثÙقًا مّÙÙ†ÙŽ اللّٰه٠وَمÙÙ†Û¡ قَبۡل٠مَا ÙَرَّطْتÙّمۡ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙَ‌ۚ ÙÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ†Û¡ اَبۡرَØÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ø§ÙŽØ±Û¡Ø¶ÙŽ ØÙŽØªÙ‘ٰى يَاۡذَنَ Ù„ÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَبÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَوۡ ÙŠÙŽØÛ¡ÙƒÙÙ…ÙŽ اللّٰه٠لÙىۡ‌ۚ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ خَيۡر٠الۡØÙ°ÙƒÙÙ…Ùيۡنَ†﴿۸۰﴾
So, When they despaired of (moving) him, they conferred together apart. The eldest of them said: Know ye not how your father took an undertaking from you in Allah's name and how ye failed in the case of Joseph aforetime? Therefore I shall not go forth from the land until my father giveth leave or Allah judgeth for me. He is the Best of Judges. ﴾80﴿
Ø§ÙØ±Û¡Ø¬ÙعÙوۡۤا اÙلٰٓى اَبÙÙŠÛ¡ÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ ÙÙŽÙ‚ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù„Ùوۡا يٰۤاَبَانَاۤ اÙنَّ ابۡنَكَ سَرَقَ‌ۚ وَمَا Ø´ÙŽÙ‡ÙØ¯Û¡Ù†ÙŽØ§Û¤ اÙلَّا بÙمَا عَلÙمۡنَا وَمَا ÙƒÙنَّا Ù„Ùلۡغَيۡب٠ØÙ°ÙÙØ¸Ùيۡنَ†﴿۸۱﴾
Return unto your father and say: O our father! Lo! thy son hath stolen. We testify only to that which we know; we are not guardians of the Unseen. ﴾81﴿
وَسۡــَٔل٠الۡقَرۡيَةَ الَّتÙÙ‰Û¡ ÙƒÙنَّا ÙÙيۡهَا وَالۡعÙيۡرَ الَّتÙÙ‰Û¡ اَقۡبَلۡنَا ÙÙيۡهَا‌ؕ وَاÙنَّا لَصٰدÙÙ‚Ùوۡنَ†﴿۸۲﴾
Ask the township where we were, and the caravan with which we travelled hither. Lo! we speak the truth. ﴾82﴿
قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ اَنۡÙÙØ³ÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ اَمۡرًا‌ؕ Ùَصَبۡرٌ جَمÙيۡلٌ‌ؕ عَسَى اللّٰه٠اَنۡ يَّاۡتÙÙŠÙŽÙ†ÙÙ‰Û¡ بÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ جَمÙيۡعًا‌ؕ اÙنَّهٗ Ù‡ÙÙˆÙŽ الۡعَلÙيۡم٠الۡØÙŽÙƒÙيۡمن﴿۸۳﴾
(And when they came unto their father and had spoken thus to him) he said: Nay, but your minds have beguiled you into something. (My course is) comely patience! It may be that Allah will bring them all unto me. Lo! He, only He, is the Knower, the Wise. ﴾83﴿
وَتَوَلّٰى عَنۡهÙÙ…Û¡ وَقَالَ يٰۤاَسَÙٰى عَلٰى ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ وَابۡيَـضَّتۡ عَيۡنٰه٠مÙÙ†ÙŽ الۡØÙـزۡن٠ÙÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ كَظÙيۡمٌ†﴿۸۴﴾
And he turned away from them and said: Alas, my grief for Joseph! And his eyes were whitened with the sorrow that he was suppressing. ﴾84﴿
قَالÙوۡا تَاللّٰه٠تَÙÛ¡ØªÙŽØ¤ÙØ§ ØªÙŽØ°Û¡ÙƒÙØ±Ù ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ ØÙŽØªÙ‘ٰى تَكÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ ØÙŽØ±ÙŽØ¶Ù‹Ø§ اَوۡ تَكÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ الۡهَالÙÙƒÙيۡنَ†﴿۸۵﴾
They said: By Allah, thou wilt never cease remembering Joseph till thy health is ruined or thou art of those who perish! ﴾85﴿
قَالَ اÙنَّمَاۤ اَشۡكÙوۡا بَثّÙـىۡ ÙˆÙŽØÙزۡنÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اÙÙ„ÙŽÙ‰ اللّٰه٠وَاَعۡلَم٠مÙÙ†ÙŽ اللّٰه٠مَا لَا تَعۡلَمÙوۡنَ†﴿۸۶﴾
He said: I expose my distress and anguish only unto Allah, and I know from Allah that which ye know not. ﴾86﴿
يٰبَنÙىَّ اذۡهَبÙوۡا ÙَتَØÙŽØ³Ù‘َسÙوۡا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ يّÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ وَاَخÙيۡه٠وَلَا تَايۡــَٔسÙوۡا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ رَّوۡØÙ اللّٰهÙ‌ؕ اÙنَّهٗ لَا يَايۡــَٔس٠مÙÙ†Û¡ رَّوۡØÙ اللّٰه٠اÙلَّا الۡقَوۡم٠الۡكٰÙÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۸۷﴾
Go, O my sons, and ascertain concerning Joseph and his brother, and despair not of the Spirit of Allah. Lo! none despaireth of the Spirit of Allah save disbelieving folk. ﴾87﴿
Ùَلَمَّا دَخَلÙوۡا عَلَيۡه٠قَالÙوۡا يٰۤاَيّÙهَا الۡعَزÙيۡز٠مَسَّنَا وَاَهۡلَنَا Ø§Ù„Ø¶Ù‘ÙØ±Ù‘Ù ÙˆÙŽØ¬ÙØ¦Û¡Ù†ÙŽØ§ Ø¨ÙØ¨ÙØ¶ÙŽØ§Ø¹ÙŽØ©Ù Ù…Ù‘ÙØ²Û¡Ø¬Ù°Ù®Ø©Ù ÙَاَوۡÙ٠لَنَا الۡكَيۡلَ وَتَصَدَّقۡ عَلَيۡنَاؕ اÙنَّ اللّٰهَ يَجۡزÙÙ‰ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØªÙŽØµÙŽØ¯Ù‘ÙÙ‚Ùيۡنَ†﴿۸۸﴾
And when they came (again) before him (Joseph) they said: O ruler! Misfortune hath touched us and our folk, and we bring but poor merchandise, so fill for us the measure and be charitable unto us. Lo! Allah will requite the charitable, ﴾88﴿
قَالَ Ù‡ÙŽÙ„Û¡ عَلÙمۡتÙÙ…Û¡ مَّا ÙَعَلۡتÙÙ…Û¡ بÙÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ وَاَخÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‡Ù Ø§ÙØ°Û¡ اَنۡتÙÙ…Û¡ جٰهÙÙ„Ùوۡنَ†﴿۸۹﴾
He said: Know ye what ye did unto Joseph and his brother in your ignorance? ﴾89﴿
قَالÙوۡۤا ءَاÙنَّكَ لَاَنۡتَ ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙ‌ؕ قَالَ اَنَا ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙ٠وَهٰذَاۤ اَخÙىۡ‌ قَدۡ مَنَّ اللّٰه٠عَلَيۡنَاؕ اÙنَّهٗ Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ ÙŠÙ‘ÙŽØªÙ‘ÙŽÙ‚Ù ÙˆÙŽÙŠÙŽØµÛ¡Ø¨ÙØ±Û¡ ÙَاÙنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا ÙŠÙØ¶Ùيۡع٠اَجۡرَ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØÛ¡Ø³ÙÙ†Ùيۡنَ†﴿۹۰﴾
They said: Is it indeed thou who art Joseph? He said: I am Joseph and this is my brother. Allah hath shown us favour. Lo! he who wardeth off (evil) and endureth (findeth favour); for lo! Allah loseth not the wages of the kindly. ﴾90﴿
قَالÙوۡا تَاللّٰه٠لَقَدۡ اٰثَرَكَ اللّٰه٠عَلَيۡنَا وَاÙÙ†Û¡ ÙƒÙنَّا لَخٰـطÙــٕÙيۡنَ†﴿۹۱﴾
They said: By Allah, verily Allah hath preferred thee above us, and we were indeed sinful. ﴾91﴿
قَالَ لَا تَثۡرÙيۡبَ عَلَيۡكÙم٠الۡيَوۡمَ‌ؕ يَغۡÙÙØ±Ù اللّٰه٠لَـكÙمۡ‌ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙˆÙŽ اَرۡØÙŽÙ…٠الرّٰØÙÙ…Ùيۡنَ†﴿۹۲﴾
He said: Have no fear this day! May Allah forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy. ﴾92﴿
Ø§ÙØ°Û¡Ù‡ÙŽØ¨Ùوۡا بÙÙ‚ÙŽÙ…ÙيۡصÙÙ‰Û¡ هٰذَا ÙَاَلۡقÙوۡه٠عَلٰى وَجۡه٠اَبÙÙ‰Û¡ يَاۡت٠بَصÙيۡرًا‌ۚ وَاۡتÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ§ÙŽÙ‡Û¡Ù„ÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ اَجۡمَعÙيۡنَ†﴿۹۳﴾
Go with this shirt of mine and lay it on my father's face, he will become (again) a seer; and come to me with all your folk. ﴾93﴿
وَلَمَّا Ùَصَلَت٠الۡعÙيۡر٠قَالَ اَبÙÙˆÛ¡Ù‡ÙÙ…Û¡ اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù„ÙŽØ§ÙŽØ¬ÙØ¯Ù رÙÙŠÛ¡ØÙŽ ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙَ‌ لَوۡلَاۤ اَنۡ تÙÙÙŽÙ€Ù†Ù‘ÙØ¯Ùوۡنن﴿۹۴﴾
When the caravan departed their father had said: Truly I am conscious of the breath of Joseph, though ye call me dotard. ﴾94﴿
قَالÙوۡا تَاللّٰه٠اÙنَّكَ Ù„ÙŽÙÙÙ‰Û¡ ضَلٰلÙÙƒÙŽ الۡقَدÙيۡمن﴿۹۵﴾
(Those around him) said: By Allah, lo! thou art in thine old aberration. ﴾95﴿
Ùَلَمَّاۤ اَنۡ جَآءَ الۡبَشÙيۡر٠اَلۡقٰٮه٠عَلٰى وَجۡهÙهٖ Ùَارۡتَدَّ بَصÙيۡرًا‌ۚ قَالَ اَلَمۡ اَقÙÙ„ لَّـكÙمۡ‌ۚ‌ ۙ اÙنّÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَعۡلَم٠مÙÙ†ÙŽ اللّٰه٠مَا لَا تَعۡلَمÙوۡنَ†﴿۹۶﴾
Then, when the bearer of glad tidings came, he laid it on his face and he became a seer once more. He said: Said I not unto you that I know from Allah that which ye know not? ﴾96﴿
قَالÙوۡا يٰۤاَبَانَا اسۡتَغۡÙÙØ±Û¡ لَنَا ذÙÙ†Ùوۡبَنَاۤ اÙنَّا ÙƒÙنَّا خٰـطÙــٕÙيۡنَ†﴿۹۷﴾
They said: O our father! Ask forgiveness of our sins for us, for lo! we were sinful. ﴾97﴿
قَالَ سَوۡÙÙŽ اَسۡتَغۡÙÙØ±Ù لَـكÙÙ…Û¡ رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡Ø• اÙنَّهٗ Ù‡ÙÙˆÙŽ الۡغَÙÙوۡر٠الرَّØÙيۡمن﴿۹۸﴾
He said: I shall ask forgiveness for you of my Lord. Lo! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. ﴾98﴿
Ùَلَمَّا دَخَلÙوۡا عَلٰى ÙŠÙوۡسÙÙÙŽ اٰوٰٓى اÙلَيۡه٠اَبَوَيۡه٠وَقَالَ ادۡخÙÙ„Ùوۡا Ù…ÙØµÛ¡Ø±ÙŽ Ø§ÙÙ†Û¡ شَآءَ اللّٰه٠اٰمÙÙ†Ùيۡنَؕ†﴿۹۹﴾
And when they came in before Joseph, he took his parents unto him, and said: Come into Egypt safe, if Allah will! ﴾99﴿
وَرَÙَعَ اَبَوَيۡه٠عَلَى الۡعَرۡش٠وَخَرّÙوۡا لَهٗ Ø³ÙØ¬Ù‘َدًا‌ۚ وَقَالَ يٰۤاَبَت٠هٰذَا تَاۡوÙÙŠÛ¡Ù„Ù Ø±ÙØ¡Û¡ÙŠÙŽØ§Ù‰ÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ قَبۡلÙقَدۡ جَعَلَهَا رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡ ØÙŽÙ‚ًّا‌ؕ وَقَدۡ اَØÛ¡Ø³ÙŽÙ†ÙŽ Ø¨ÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ Ø§ÙØ°Û¡ اَخۡرَجَنÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙØ¬Û¡Ù†Ù وَجَآءَ بÙÙƒÙÙ…Û¡ مّÙÙ†ÙŽ الۡبَدۡو٠مÙÙ†Û¡Û¢ بَعۡد٠اَنۡ نَّزَغَ الشَّيۡطٰن٠بَيۡنÙÙ‰Û¡ وَبَيۡنَ Ø§ÙØ®Û¡ÙˆÙŽØªÙىۡ‌ؕ اÙنَّ رَبّÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù„ÙŽØ·ÙÙŠÛ¡ÙÙŒ لّÙمَا يَشَآءÙ‌ؕ اÙنَّهٗ Ù‡ÙÙˆÙŽ الۡعَلÙيۡم٠الۡØÙŽÙƒÙيۡمن﴿۱۰۰﴾
And he placed his parents on the dais and they fell down before him prostrate, and he said: O my father! This is the interpretation of my dream of old. My Lord hath made it true, and He hath shown me kindness, since He took me out of the prison and hath brought you from the desert after Satan had made strife between me and my brethren. Lo! my Lord is tender unto whom He will. He is the Knower, the Wise. ﴾100﴿
رَبّ٠قَدۡ اٰتَيۡتَنÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ الۡمÙÙ„Û¡ÙƒÙ ÙˆÙŽ عَلَّمۡتَنÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ تَاۡوÙيۡل٠الۡاَØÙŽØ§Ø¯ÙÙŠÛ¡Ø«Ù‌ۚ ÙÙŽØ§Ø·ÙØ±ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙŽÙ…Ù°ÙˆÙ°ØªÙ ÙˆÙŽØ§Ù„Û¡Ø§ÙŽØ±Û¡Ø¶Ù اَنۡتَ ÙˆÙŽÙ„Ùىّٖ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الدّÙنۡيَا ÙˆÙŽØ§Ù„Û¡Ø§Ù°Ø®ÙØ±ÙŽØ©Ù‌ؕ تَوَÙÙ‘ÙŽÙ†ÙÙ‰Û¡ Ù…ÙØ³Û¡Ù„Ùمًا وَّاَلۡØÙÙ‚Û¡Ù†ÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„ØµÙ‘Ù°Ù„ÙØÙيۡنَ†﴿۱۰۱﴾
O my Lord! Thou hast given me (something) of sovereignty and hast taught me (something) of the interpretation of events - Creator of the heavens and the earth! Thou art my Protecting Guardian in the world and the Hereafter. Make me to die muslim (unto Thee), and join me to the righteous. ﴾101﴿
ذٰلÙÙƒÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ اَنۡۢبَآء٠الۡغَيۡب٠نÙÙˆÛ¡ØÙيۡه٠اÙلَيۡكَ‌ۚ وَمَا ÙƒÙنۡتَ لَدَيۡهÙÙ…Û¡ Ø§ÙØ°Û¡ اَجۡمَعÙوۡۤا اَمۡرَهÙÙ…Û¡ ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ ÙŠÙŽÙ…Û¡ÙƒÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۰۲﴾
This is of the tidings of the Unseen which We inspire in thee (Muhammad). Thou wast not present with them when they fixed their plan and they were scheming. ﴾102﴿
وَمَاۤ اَكۡثَر٠النَّاس٠وَلَوۡ ØÙŽØ±ÙŽØµÛ¡ØªÙŽ Ø¨ÙÙ…ÙØ¤Û¡Ù…ÙÙ†Ùيۡنَ†﴿۱۰۳﴾
And though thou try much, most men will not believe. ﴾103﴿
وَمَا تَسۡــَٔلÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ عَلَيۡه٠مÙÙ†Û¡ اَجۡرÙ‌ؕ اÙÙ†Û¡ Ù‡ÙÙˆÙŽ اÙلَّا ذÙكۡرٌ لّÙـلۡعٰلَمÙيۡنَ†﴿۱۰۴﴾
Thou askest them no fee for it. It is naught else than a reminder unto the peoples. ﴾104﴿
وَكَاَيّÙÙ†Û¡ مّÙÙ†Û¡ اٰيَة٠ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ Ø§Ù„Ø³Ù‘ÙŽÙ…Ù°ÙˆÙ°ØªÙ ÙˆÙŽØ§Ù„Û¡Ø§ÙŽØ±Û¡Ø¶Ù ÙŠÙŽÙ…ÙØ±Ù‘ÙÙˆÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ عَلَيۡهَا ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ عَنۡهَا Ù…ÙØ¹Û¡Ø±ÙضÙوۡنَ†﴿۱۰۵﴾
How many a portent is there in the heavens and the earth which they pass by with face averted! ﴾105﴿
وَمَا ÙŠÙØ¤Û¡Ù…Ùن٠اَكۡثَرÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¨ÙØ§Ù„لّٰه٠اÙلَّا ÙˆÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ù…Ù‘ÙØ´Û¡Ø±ÙÙƒÙوۡنَ†﴿۱۰۶﴾
And most of them believe not in Allah except that they attribute partners (unto Him). ﴾106﴿
اَÙَاَمÙÙ†Ùوۡۤا اَنۡ تَاۡتÙÙŠÙŽÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ غَاشÙيَةٌ مّÙÙ†Û¡ عَذَاب٠اللّٰه٠اَوۡ تَاۡتÙÙŠÙŽÙ‡Ùم٠السَّاعَة٠بَغۡتَةً وَّ Ù‡ÙÙ…Û¡ لَا ÙŠÙŽØ´Û¡Ø¹ÙØ±Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۰۷﴾
Deem they themselves secure from the coming on them of a pall of Allah's punishment, or the coming of the Hour suddenly while they are unaware? ﴾107﴿
Ù‚ÙÙ„Û¡ هٰذÙهٖ سَبÙÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اَدۡعÙوۡۤا اÙÙ„ÙŽÙ‰ اللّٰهÙ‌ؔعَلٰى بَصÙيۡرَة٠اَنَا وَمَن٠اتَّبَعَنÙىۡ‌ؕ ÙˆÙŽØ³ÙØ¨Û¡ØÙ°Ù†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Ù„Ù‘Ù°Ù‡Ù ÙˆÙŽÙ…ÙŽØ§Û¤ اَنَا Ù…ÙÙ†ÙŽ Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØ´Û¡Ø±ÙÙƒÙيۡنَ†﴿۱۰۸﴾
Say: This is my Way: I call on Allah with sure knowledge. I and whosoever followeth me - Glory be to Allah! - and I am not of the idolaters. ﴾108﴿
وَمَاۤ اَرۡسَلۡنَا Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ قَبۡلÙÙƒÙŽ اÙلَّا Ø±ÙØ¬ÙŽØ§Ù„اً نّÙÙˆÛ¡ØÙÙ‰Û¡Û¤ اÙÙ„ÙŽÙŠÛ¡Ù‡ÙÙ…Û¡ مّÙÙ†Û¡ Ø§ÙŽÙ‡Û¡Ù„Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù‚ÙØ±Ù°Ù“ى‌ؕ اَÙÙŽÙ„ÙŽÙ…Û¡ يَسÙيۡرÙوۡا ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ الۡاَرۡض٠ÙÙŽÙŠÙŽÙ†Û¡Ø¸ÙØ±Ùوۡا ÙƒÙŽÙŠÛ¡ÙÙŽ كَانَ Ø¹ÙŽØ§Ù‚ÙØ¨ÙŽØ©Ù الَّذÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ Ù…ÙÙ†Û¡ قَبۡلÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡Ø• ÙˆÙŽÙ„ÙŽØ¯ÙŽØ§Ø±Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ø§Ù°Ø®ÙØ±ÙŽØ©Ù خَيۡرٌ لّÙـلَّذÙÙŠÛ¡Ù†ÙŽ اتَّقَوۡا‌ؕ اَÙَلَا تَعۡقÙÙ„Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۰۹﴾
We sent not before thee (any messengers) save men whom We inspired from among the folk of the townships - Have they not travelled in the land and seen the nature of the consequence for those who were before them? And verily the abode of the Hereafter, for those who ward off (evil), is best. Have ye then no sense? - ﴾109﴿
ØÙŽØªÙ‘Ù°Û¤Ù‰ Ø§ÙØ°ÙŽØ§ اسۡتَيۡــَٔسَ Ø§Ù„Ø±Ù‘ÙØ³Ùل٠وَظَنّÙوۡۤا اَنَّهÙÙ…Û¡ قَدۡ ÙƒÙØ°ÙبÙوۡا جَآءَهÙÙ…Û¡ نَصۡرÙنَا ۙ ÙÙŽÙ†ÙØ¬Ù‘ÙÙ‰ÙŽ Ù…ÙŽÙ†Û¡ نَّشَآءÙ‌ؕ وَلَا ÙŠÙØ±ÙŽØ¯Ù‘٠بَاۡسÙنَا Ø¹ÙŽÙ†Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù‚ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…Ù Ø§Ù„Û¡Ù…ÙØ¬Û¡Ø±ÙÙ…Ùيۡنَ†﴿۱۱۰﴾
Till, when the messengers despaired and thought that they were denied, then came unto them Our help, and whom We would was saved. And Our wrath cannot be warded from the guilty. ﴾110﴿
لَـقَدۡ كَانَ ÙÙÙ‰Û¡ قَصَصÙÙ‡ÙÙ…Û¡ Ø¹ÙØ¨Û¡Ø±ÙŽØ©ÙŒ Ù„ÙّاÙولÙÙ‰ الۡاَلۡبَابÙ‌ؕ مَا كَانَ ØÙŽØ¯Ùيۡثًا يّÙÙۡتَرٰى وَلٰـكÙÙ†Û¡ تَصۡدÙÙŠÛ¡Ù‚ÙŽ الَّذÙÙ‰Û¡ بَيۡنَ يَدَيۡه٠وَتَÙۡصÙÙŠÛ¡Ù„ÙŽ ÙƒÙÙ„Ù‘Ù Ø´ÙŽÙ‰Û¡Ø¡Ù ÙˆÙ‘ÙŽÙ‡ÙØ¯Ù‹Ù‰ وَّرَØÛ¡Ù…َةً لّÙÙ€Ù‚ÙŽÙˆÛ¡Ù…Ù ÙŠÙ‘ÙØ¤Û¡Ù…ÙÙ†Ùوۡنَ†﴿۱۱۱﴾
In their history verily there is a lesson for men of understanding. It is no invented story but a confirmation of the existing (Scripture) and a detailed explanation of everything, and a guidance and a mercy for folk who believe. ﴾111﴿
