Surah Al-Baqara Ayat/verse 89 with Urdu & English Translation - 2:89

وَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ كِتٰبٌ مِّنۡ عِنۡدِ اللّٰهِ مُصَدِّقٌ لِّمَا مَعَهُمۡۙ وَكَانُوۡا مِنۡ قَبۡلُ يَسۡتَفۡتِحُوۡنَ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ كَفَرُوۡا  ‌ۖۚ فَلَمَّا جَآءَهُمۡ مَّا عَرَفُوۡا کَفَرُوۡا بِهٖ‌ فَلَعۡنَةُ اللّٰهِ عَلَى الۡكٰفِرِيۡنَ‏﴿۸۹﴾

اور جب الله Ú©Û’ ہاں سے ان Ú©Û’ پاس کتاب آئی جو ان Ú©ÛŒ (آسمانی) کتاب Ú©ÛŒ بھی تصدیق کرتی ہے، اور وہ پہلے (ہمیشہ) کافروں پر فتح مانگا کرتے تھے، تو جس چیز Ú©Ùˆ وہ خوب پہچانتے تھے، جب ان Ú©Û’ پاس آپہنچی تو اس سے کافر ہو گئے۔ پس کافروں پر الله Ú©ÛŒ لعنت﴿۸۹﴾

And when there cometh unto them a scripture from Allah, confirming that in their possession - though before that they were asking for a signal triumph over those who disbelieved - and when there cometh unto them that which they know (to be the truth) they disbelieve therein. The curse of Allah is on disbelievers.﴾89﴿
