یار کہتا ہے تجلئ لقا تھی میں نہ تھا

تمہارے دید کی حسرت بہت مشکل سے نکلے گی

صبر کر صبر دل زار یہ وحشت کیا ہے

روبرو آنا چھپانا چھوڑ دے

پہلو کو ترے عشق میں ویراں نہیں دیکھا

نعش اس عاشق ناشاد کی اٹھوانے دو

ممکن نہیں دوا ہے اس آزار کے لیے

میں عاشق ہوں مجھے مقتل میں اپنا نام کرنا ہے

کاٹوں گا شب تڑپ کر رو کر سحر کروں گا
