The 102nd surah of Holy Quran is the At-Takasur, comprising of total of eight verses. In the Quran, it exists in Para 30. It is one of the Mecca surahs.
The name is given on the basis of the first verse’s word Attakasukr which means the competition or plentitude.
Description:
This surah warns the greedy and materialistic people from their dreadful fat. A day will come when they would get punished and thrown to ranging fire of hell due to their evil deeds.
So, such people should be aware of that horrible result and quickly quit their bad sins.
Benefits of reciting the Surah Takasur:
Recitation of this surah of Quran Kareem provides the great virtue of that all the previous sins of the week are forgiven.
- To explore its benefits in English there is Hadith on surah as Holy Prophet (P.B.U.H) said that
“One who recites it then there is no limit of His blessings that he has in the world and so, is awarded such a prize as if he recited one thousand verses.” ( Majma -al-Bayan, vol. 10, p. 532)
The person who recites it habitually, blessed with Allah’s support.
Recitation of 8 verses of that surah is equal to the recitation of 1000 verses of the Holy Quran.
At that judgment Day, his perception will be comfortably tested with Allah’s kindness.
Wazifa of Surah Takasur:
- To get rid of issues and problems, recite the verses of this surah regularly.
- Someone who wants to meet his beloved ones in dreams, he must say 4 rakat nafavl prayers with the recitation of surah attakasur in each rakat then recite Darood Pak and then sleep. In sha Allah, he will surely meet his beloved ones.
